PAD, I find All Star pitching to be way too easy and not a challenge. I use a complete clean screen (no ball marker, hot zones and no vibration). I enjoy your settings and Mike Lowe's HOF Pitching settings, overall. But, it seems I am having one problem, though. It seems like I can be cruising along pitching a good game, then suddenly, the AI will erupt with 4-5 runs. Normally, this occurs around the 5th-6th inning. I stay very conscious about mixing it up, walking guys to get to the weaker hitter behind them, mound visits and pitching changes, but it seems almost unavoidable. No matter what I seemingly do, this eruption will occur. Are you finding this to be an issue? Also, it seems like Solid hits on 5, and even 4, the AI hits are consistently 95 MPH + off the bat. But, there are too many weak hits when Solid Hits are on 3. Do you find the hits off the bat are way too hard too often when this option is set to 5?

Honestly, I think SCEA dumbed down the AI. The CPU seems bad this year, which is why we're being forced to use sliders to make them better. I think with CPU solid hits on anything less than 5, they simply don't generate enough offense. And with solid hits at 6, everything the CPU hits is crushed. I think 5 is perfect. I think this year, the key sliders are Pitch Control and Pitcher Accuracy. These two sliders are just as important as the CPU batting sliders because they tell you how accurate your pitcher is. Anything above 3 for User Pitcher Control and the CPU generates no offense. Unfortunately, with it at 0 (like Mike Lowe), they are a bit too over-powered (and the comeback AI nonsense becomes more prevalent). It really is a slippery slope this year because the sliders work . . . a little too well. Gotta go with what you think is right based on your skill level. If you think the CPU is still having that one inning where they bash everything, take a look at how many runs and hits they get per game, not per inning. If their game stats are good, you may just want to start getting your bullpen ready earlier. If their game stats are overpowered, that's when sliders need to be adjusted.

Hey so I applied your sliders tonight, and honestly I didn't see a difference from the sliders I previously used. The only difference I noticed was in the hitting because it's on Hall of Fame. I have played 23 innings and given up 3 runs, one game was tied 2-2 up until the 15th. Honestly after the 11th I was just pounding the strike zone with fastballs and offspeed and still striking them out. Now I know it's a small sample size but I coasted through the second game throwing a cg shutout. Now I crave realistic sliders and think it makes the game unbelievably fun. Is there a way I could tweak these to make it more challenging? I want to have to focus on every pitch like your bio says. I switched all the presentation also and I use the analog to pitch not the meter. I don't want to have to crank the CPU sliders all the way up. But I just feel like their is no other option. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I feel your pain. I'm having the same issue the last few games and am working on revising these sliders to make the cpu offense stronger. I'll post a revised set within a day or two to make them stronger.

I've posted updated sliders in the first post. I've also uploaded these to the Slider Vault. Didn't have much time to test them, but in the two games I played with them,
I definitely noticed a substantial amount more CPU offense.
