When I play Franchise I mainly just act as GM, and sim through all games (I generally play opening day and playoffs, and just set starter and lineups for all other games but do not play them).
I know that some (all?) CPU sliders affect simmed games as well as user-played games, so I'm looking for a slider set that fixes some of the issues that occur with a lot of the league-wide stats when simming full seasons.
For example, if you compare the number of complete games and shutouts thrown in any given simmed season of The Show to any current real-life season, you'll see that starters pitch WAY too many CGs while simming. Same for Reliever innings pitched/games played. It's ridiculously far away from reality. There's other issues like this (stolen bases being way off, not enough errors league-wide, etc) that I would like to solve as well.
So I'm looking for a slider set that fixes issues like these, and makes full simmed seasons play out similarly to your typical real-life baseball season.
Does anything like that already exist? If not, any tips on what sliders to tweak to get the most realistic SIMMED GAME/SEASON numbers possible?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
