I increased hit power one notch for CPU now...

They hit too many homers and everything is hit hard. If I lonwer their power one notch then I dominate them with no homers. Do I decrease solid hits so they still hit homers? Not sure how to balance this out.

    Thanks

Lowering solid hits could work, but you might also see a lot more popups and choppers. You could actually see MORE home runs, too, because more power + more likely for high flyballs could produce more home runs. Might be more feast-or-famine type results. Pop ups and bouncers punctuated with bombs.

I might try putting Power back and raising solid hits (or contact or both).

Raising solid hits helps hitters get the max out of their trajectories (so fly balls will have higher velocity) and contact improves how well the PCI is located and overall hitting ability (basically).

Another thing you could try if you want to keep your Power setting is raising your pitching sliders. Control/Consistency help govern how much the batter is "off" with his swing (and how often), along with how often the pitcher fails badly (in Classic - in other interfaces, they probably help determine the ease of use and how badly mistakes tend to be punished)
