OS MLB 16 Slider Average Sheet

Just like this NCAA slider comparison chart from 2013, I wondered how MLB 16 would play out from taking 12 slider sets and getting an average set from them.

I went ahead and made an excel file really quick last night and come up with a set. I'm going to play a few games tonight and see how they play out.

My first game with these averaged out sliders.

I for sure seen some things I haven't because of changes away from default. Good stuff.

I play on All Star (both batting and pitching) with Zone hitting and Classic pitching.

Will definitely be interesting to follow. I'll for sure be checking in on how this how's for you. Especially since I have no designs to get Madden anytime soon and am only 105 games through my Nat's chise. Gonna finish all 162 this year! Lol.

I'm using the Mets in those games.

I'm waiting for the OSFM waiver deadline roster and I'm starting a franchise finally. Been playing a historic 1986 Mets season with a classic roster. But we itching for a current roster one. I will only play one game a series, towards end of the year depending on how the division/WC races look.

Keep plugging away. That's an awesome accomplishment to finish 162.

Good stuff. I like the averages. I normally play with Modifiers, you probably seen them on my sliders post, however, I am in pre-season right now fine tuning some things and was looking to play the 2017 season with just a base line set and compare it to my 2016 sliders with modifiers applied each game. I will give these a go. I will keep the fielder speed at zero (0) because the fielders are too fast now as it is and seem to track everything down. Every thing else looks good. I will let you know how I make out...any other stats you need just let me know.

Started a Mets season with the OSFM waiver deadline rosters from 9/2/16.

Game 1

Top 8th: 2 out 2 run HR by Cespedes. Familia comes in for a two inning save.

I usually only play one game per series. I'm going to plug away until I lose to start the year. Which I'm sure will be soon.

Game 2

Thor tossed a gem and Cespedes with another 2 run HR.

Game 3: Bottom of the 8th, Cespedes 2 out bases loaded, doubled in 2 runs to give the Mets a 6-5 lead. Familia in for his 3rd save.

Pretty sure I haven't won 3 games in a row this cycle of MLB 16. Lol.

Thanks for this . Averages really help nail where sliders are maximized down to almost an exact science . If I see that a slider is moved to 4 or 6 , that tells me the default settings was pretty good to begin with . What I look to are the ones that are slid even further , like the ones I quoted above . These are the ones that I am most interested in your opinion on , especially Fielder Speed and Reliever Stamina . Does it seem those two play better at 3 and 2 than the default setting ?
