No.....by setting lineups to manual you take the initial time to go into each teams lineups and set them up properly.
Then as injuries occur, you will get a notification that their lineups are not valid, you then decide which player will fill in for the injured player.
If you want to have lineups, pitching rotations, and injury management to work properly without issues you have to put in a little work (and it takes literally 2 minutes to fix a team).
Believe me it is not that hard. When I get notifications for minor league teams....I let the CPU auto fix them.....I then browse around the league and make sure lineups look right.
Once you get into a rhythm and system it runs smooth and with not much time needed to keep your league clean.
It is worth the effort.
I saw a horrible trade too the other day....Josh1977 was watching the stream and we were both like WTF LOL.....reversed it right away.
30 team control is awesome and not much work if you just control lineups and play trade czar to reverse horrible CPU trade logic from time to time.
I have only reversed 2 trades thus far and i am in June. It is not as bad as people make it out to be....but there are some doozy trades for sure each season that make zero sense, short term or long term.
