So far I like it based on a small sample size. Main thing now is they throw too many strikes. So far about 75% strikes. I was only in maybe 2 or 3, 3-ball counts through 2 games.

First pitch strikes are about right. 60%.

I need help from Slider Pro Lowe. Which should I turn down do you think? Pitch consistency, control, or strike frequency? So as not to mess up the perfect 1st strike %, but lower the overall strike % to 62ish.

I've messed with it some but not sure the difference in those 3 other than the vague descriptions in the game.

There were no HBP or WP through 2 games so far.

    Thanks!

Don't mess w consistency. I'd drop accuracy before anything else.

My Marlins pull off a pretty big trade! I'll be streaming later today and will discuss the impact for both teams.

I'll post later when the stream is up. Not entirely sure yet on time.

Hey Mike, when you say sim at whatever on your set, are you referring to simming your user games, or when you sim the remaining league games for the day? I can't imagine you're changing stamina and hook for every single day are you? Just wanted to make sure I'm correct when I start my franchise. Thanks!

I don't sim user games. Use the sim settings 100% of the time until you are about to throw out the first pitch of a played game. After that, you just need to adjust the hook slider once the AI goes to their bullpen beyond the 5th inning or so.

I don't sim user games either.. I have sliders as is. So basically I'm just changing the hook after cpu goes to the pen. I don't change the stamina at all as long as I'm playing my user games. Correct? Sorry I think I'm over thinking and confusing myself.

No. Read what I wrote above. That's exactly how you should be handling it.

Any tips for striking out the CPU too frequently? I average just under 14 k's a game, but when they connect it tends to be the long ball. Feast or famine.

Quick question : why the speed of the pitch meter change ? What are the reasons behind this ?

Who are your pitchers and what is their K/9 ratings?

There's no way to change the speed of the pitch meter outside of the impact the difficulty level may make.

Ok but why, during a match, the speed changes too ? Especially after the pitcher allows a hit. I can't see a logic reason. ^^

That's due to the pitcher throwing out of the stretch, not because of the difficulty level. Shorter windup time = less time for the meter to move it's full length. Plus I feel like it also represents it being somewhat more challenging/stressful to pitch from the stretch (when there are runners on base). Easier to make mistakes.

Difficulty level is a small factor too in the overall meter speed, as Mike mentioned.

After the pitcher allows a hit, there's a guy on base so the pitcher goes from the stretch. Thus his delivery becomes much faster and makes the meter faster. When nobody is on base, pitching from the windup, takes longer making the meter slower

It's synchronized to the pitcher's delivery and release, specifically. With runners on base, pitchers pitch out of the stretch, meaning they speed up their delivery motion, stance from the mound etc to limit a baserunner's potential jump when stealing a base.
