I say this non-sarcastically, but practice practice practice. Literally, go into practice mode and practice.

I've been practicing little you said and I see so improvements but I was wondering where do you start your cursor for directional and does it change if your deep in the count behind in the count ect

If you're using directional hitting you don't actually move the cursor. The "cursor" essentially acts as what type of hit your are trying to get. Example of you have the direction pointed down you are trying for a grounder or line drive (opposite if pointed up) and then trying to pull if holding left and visa versa. There is actually a good guide solely devoted to directional hitting on operation sports that has helped me: forums.operationsports.com/forums/mlb-show/907904-directional-hitting-guide.html

Is it 100%? No. Ball placement still has a lot to do with it. But for me i have guys in the Rays who have almost no power or a lot of speed so I'll hold down and look for a pitch muddle up and if I can get good contact I have a good chance to get a solid grounder or liner that leads to a hit

Yeah I like it. Just something that has always worked for me. These sliders do a great job at not necessarily favoring one batting or pitching setting over the other. All about what works best for each person

I'm 5th with the Mets, 130 allowed over 134 games. Dodgers first with 98. Admittedly it's the Mets starters and unlike real life they've stayed healthy all season. I feel like I'm getting more strikeouts than I should, but again that may be because of the staff I have.

What's killing me is on all star hitting I'm getting 10 hits a game roughly but keep leaving multiple guys on base I'm trying to improve my hitting but man it gets frustrating

Mike this is the best set I have ever used in The Show. TNK, PsychoBulk, and Armor and Swords sets have not played up to par with my playing ability. I'm glad I was able to finally come across yours and it plays perfectly. Some tight games and not heavy blowouts in every single one. Hitting is actually challenging, but not too difficult. Only thing to nitpick at is the number of outfield blunders. Infield blunders could use a one notch raise

I know I sound like a broken record here, but literally everything about these sliders I love apart from Freddie Freeman! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love that he has 36 home runs in 78 games...but...he has 36 home runs in 78 games! He's on pace to beat Bonds! Next on the team is Kemp with 10!!!

Moved back to OP sliders for pitching, even with quick counts, and am enjoying it more. Think I've learned to pitch better.

Lastly, in the midst of a 7 game win streak and am now 38-40 in my braves chise. Irl they're 37-40 so a win today and we're even!

I'm playing the Braves franchise just cause I downloaded the home run theme and the Tomahawk Chop and put that in as the team chant. Reminds me of the 90's when they would play it. They play it random when I'm batting but its pretty good at finding critical moments to play it.

Mike - I know you've been struggling with the catcher D. I wonder if you've considered upping cpu consistency? I know you're going to sacrifice the already small number of hbp, but wonder if that's a sacrifice worth making? Also, I'm averaging 10 hits over my last 10 games and wonder if it's the quality of pitching or the fact that the sliders encourage a few more meatballs to hit with the lower consist? Might try it at 4 or even 5 but curious on your thoughts?

I really like the mixing and matching with hitting at All-Star and Pitching on HOF. I find pitching to be way too easy at times so it is perfect on HOF

Just wanted to say "thank you!" For blessing us with these sliders they have single-handedly saved this game for me in terms of interest and fun.

Just faced Max Scherzer in my Marlins franchise and proceeded to strikeout thirteen times, however, I managed to work three walks in a single game, which has got to be some sort of record for me and also had him up over 100 pitches by the 7th inning. Justin Bour managed to touch him up in the 3rd inning for a solo HR, however, Bryce Harper was too much, going 2 for 3 with a double as well as the go-ahead RBI. I lost 2-1.

The game felt good for the first time in over a month.
