Hey guys I'm seeing a lot of slider discussion regarding homeruns being too frequent. For all of you zone hitting players on Legend, I'd love to use this thread as a place we can provide feedback after testing sliders.
This is the first year the show has felt slightly arcadish to me due to the homeruns, so I'd love to be able to have different individuals test out certain sliders on Legend and collaborate to see what kind of set we should end up with.
For the past 10 games in my franchise, I've only lowered CPU and user timing to 3, but it surprisingly seems too low. Neither team has hit a homerun in the past 3 games, and I have shut out the computer about half of the time.
It's crucial that you really pitch to the corners on Legend this year, and if you miss..make sure it's off the plate. I found myself in previous years just pitching to contact without any fear or being taken out of the park..this year is very different. Once you have the mindset of every pitch matters, pitching on Legend isn't as daunting as I thought it was the first couple days I played 17.
