TRY This slider set!!! I have tested these over 35 games so far.

I have been averaging 0.8 Homers per game over the course of 35 games in my season with the Yankees. When i first started playing the game (In Play Now Exhibition) i was playing on All Star Hitting and All Star pitching and i was hitting 5 homers a game with default sliders. Only using regular swing. I never use power swing.

    Here they are:
    Hitting Difficulty : Veteran
Must be on Veteran so that you can score some runs by just hitting.*
Pitching Difficulty : Hall of Fame
    Directional hitting

*Any sliders not mentioned are default.

    User Power (Minus)-4
    Cpu Power (Minus)-4
User Solid hits : Maxed out
Cpu Pitcher Strike frequency -3 (Needs to be -3 because computer throws too many strikes on Veteran difficulty) I'm averaging 2 to 3 walks a game with it set on -3 on Veteran. This slider set at -3 will not work on higher hitting difficulties. You will see too many balls on higher hitting difficulties.
    Outfield Arm Strength -5
    Infield Arm Strength -5*
Outfield/infield Arm Strength at -5 will allow the cpu and user to see runs scored off of hits. And the game will still play realistically.

Try these out and post your box scores!!!
Do you think these will work well with zone hitting also? I've been looking for a good slider set but most have power at or near default and I don't see how people aren't hitting 3-4 HR per game on default power on any level of difficulty. Thanks

I'm playing a game with these right now using zone hitting with a wedge pci. DBACKS vs Giants. I'm Arizona. After two innings of hitting, I'm down 2-1. I have two hits. Pollock stifled into left field. Grabbed 2nd on a wild pitch. Peralta followed up with a nice little chip shot between the 2nd and first baseman. Pollock got home, would have been close if the RF throw wasnt so far off.

Aight cool. So far I've just been playing exhibition games and RTTS while waiting for OSFM rosters to come out and playing with different slider sets and different difficulty. I'm definitely going to try this out because no way would I have ever played at Veteran hitting so thanks.

The Peralta rbi was actually a sharp hit grounder between first and second.

Bottom of the fourth, hit my first homer. This from Peralta ofF of Bumgardner. Definitely not a moonshot though. It was a line drive homer to right that just got over the wall. Didn't even hit the stands but on the ground floor fan level in Arizona ballpark.

Nice. Keep me posted. I dont use strike zone on. I turn it off. Also turn off guess pitch.

At the end of the game let me know how many Hrs, Hits and walks both teams have.

I dont see why they wouldnt work with zone hitting.

Im up 6-4 now. I put 4 across in the fifth on 4 hits. 1 was a double. Had double advance on a wild pitch. Giants pulled Bumgardner after 4 2/3 innings. I'm up 6-4 going into top of the 6th.

That HR earlier was by Lamb not Peralta. Lamb hit 29 or 30 last season.

I tried these sliders and I was pleasantly surprised. It seems to have cured the frequency of homeruns.

Playing on zone kinda sucks because the PCIs are massive coming from legend. But worth people to checkout.

What was your final score? And hits, hrs and walks for both teams?

Yes these have cured the homeruns. I have 33 hrs over the course of 40games in my yankees season with these sliders.
                        I have allowed 44.

Average of 0.8 homeruns hit over 40 games.
Average of 1.1 homeruns allowed over 40 games.

I think 0.8 is to low last year Atlanta were the worst average for home runs per game and that was 0.76 with Baltimore the highest at 1.56

I would put the notch up to 2 or 3 for Power. You might wanna just get that average up to 1.1. I will try these sliders though I prefer Veteran for me it's not about difficulty it is about variety and realism.

I also think the fact the CPU keeps pulling starters early puts the home runs up too because to many gassed RP guys come on.

I think its fine where it is. I'm tied for 26th in Team homeruns in the whole league in my season. If I was to put Power any higher i think the most would be at 2.

The yankees only have 3 batters over 80 in power. Gary Sanchez is an 82 and Bird 81 and Chris Carter is in the 90's. Everyone else is in the 50's to 40's. For the exception of Aaron Judge who is in the 60's and Holliday in the 70's against lefties.

If I had a team who had more power bats im sure i would have more homeruns.

Also I never use power swing so maybe if i use it more i will get more HRS aswell

I am scared of solid hits at being 10 that then we wouldn't see the right amount of stirke outs. have you tried contact at 4 so that creates more strikeouts but also doesn't effect the amount of hits?

I have had the solid hits at 10 all season long and i still strikeout a lot. I'm averaging 8.7 strikeouts through 45 games

The cpus solid hits is at 5 Default.
