Hello, OS Community.



I have tweaked sliders that I think will work for players using Legend Hitting and Legend Pitching, looking for a solid sim experience in MLB The Show 17. My two favorite OS Slider sets are FenwayMac's Variety set, and Mike Lowe's slider set. A lot of my slider features are based off of theirs. I use Pure Analog hitting and Classic pitching myself, but any way you want to play should work with these sliders. Anyway, make sure to check them out on the Vault. JBMILLZ14 Dynamic Sliders

First game with the sliders: Cardinals @ Yankees , Play Now Live

The Cardinals(user) fell behind early in a game that was a pitchers duel much throughout. Redbirds came up just short of a late comeback effort in the ninth, as they scored two in the last frame, losing 3-2 to the Yankees. I am currently on Rookie+ Dynamic Difficulty for hitting (recently switched to Pure Analog hitting, struggling a little) and All-Star for pitching.

The Yanks got one of their runs off of a throwing error by Molina. Sliders worked out pretty well for this game, beside the fact that I have been struggling with Pure Analog hitting, making weak contact. I may also have to address the fact that I(user) did not really strike out much at all(probably due to the Rookie+ Dynamic Difficulty) but even still, that could be adjusted in the future.

Also considering increasing fielding error sliders for both infielders and outfielders, only by one tick, maybe two for throwing errors. Please, everyone download the sliders, play some games, and let me know what you think we should adjust. I like the way the strike % is looking right now.

That game was discontinued, I was struggling, did not think the game accurately reflected the sliders.

I decided I would try Dynamic Sliders for the first time this year and pretty much have the same sliders that you have with the exception of pitch speed, timing, and you pitch sliders. Are you happy with the dynamic setting of 5 (default) as far as how fast you go up or down based on performance?

I apply modifiers each game that can be possibly applied to everything but hitting. I am only two games in and not sure exactly where I am at as far as skill level. I know I started on Rookie + I think. Is there a way to look at that other than at the start of the game?

So far I like what I am seeing through Spring Training. I think by the time the season starts I should have settled in to a pretty decent skill level that allows each game to be competitive with that realistic feel.

If you have any other thoughts or ideas please let me know. I know when I was playing on All-Star level as I did each year it seemed a little hard this year as well as timing, that I one of the reasons I wanted to take a look at Dynamic so see where I settle in and just how high I can get for both pitching and hitting skill level. I have attached my PDF file for what I apply after I draw three cards.

I like the Dynamic setting at 5, I can't hit for some reason right now, but I like the slower progression between skill levels and am going to hang in there and continue to improve. There will be a v2 released today with changes to Timing for both the user and CPU, as well as maybe a bump up in some of the error sliders, and maybe even an adjustment to user/CPU Pitcher control and consistency as well. Trying to get a realistic strike percentage and generate some more user strikeouts on lower difficulties, so I could adjust Timing and/or Contact to do that.

Bats finally came alive a bit in a 4-2 win for the Cardinals(user) over the Twins(CPU). I used b22's OSFM 1.5 W/EQUIPMENT UPDATES roster in a Custom Matchup Play Now Game. This was my first game using the v2 sliders which will be uploaded to the vault shortly.
