Converting Zone to Directional & Meter to Classic

I'm wondering if there's any consensus on how to translate slider settings from Zone to Directional for hitting and Meter to Classic for pitching.

The most popular sliders here use very different setups, and I'm curious to know if folks have figured out some general rules about how a given setting using one interface translates to another interface.

I know I can simply play-test sets built for different settings than my own preferred ones (Directional and Classic), but I'm trying to save myself a little bit of time by asking the community. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think that there really is a consensus as everyone plays differently than each other. I look at Nomo's as a base and evaluate Armor & Swords and Marino's sliders for influences to get a base to start from - they use directional and classic. From there, it is an adjustment to difficulty levels. Pitching on All Star is too easy for me but hitting with directional can get VERY difficult beyond that. If something is looking out of whack after a month into the season or you see them making changes, you might consider making the same change.
