What is the best slider to use for Trade Frequency?

I haven't been able to see any trades occur around the league in my Franchise and wanted to know what everyone uses to see some trades occur? Default doesn't seem to making any trades happen over the course of a season.

I use the following and I've been seeing trades:
April & May: 1
June-July 15th: 3
July 15th-July 31st: Max
Rest of Season: 5
Offseason & Spring Training: 6

What roster are you using? 30 team control or not?

I'm using OSFM roster and don't see any trades into June and I have sliders set at default still which is 5.

Did you ever toggle features like lineups and manage roster from manual to auto or vice versa using the square button?

That doesn't change anything for me. I only see an increase when I bump the slider up to 7. Now I'm seeing some trades

I'm also interested to see if this slider works as intended. I've played at 10 for a season and a half and feel like trades were still too infrequent. I'd love to see some tests for a few settings and see if any other number actually produces more trades.

Out of curiosity, which roster were you using? I wonder if that affects things? I am using the OFSM hybrid, and at 7, I am still seeing too infrequent trades . . .

Real MLB, it seems you see about 5-10 a month, not counting the spike right before the deadline. admittedly, some of those involve Single A/Rookie players, or trades for cash, that are not represented in the Show universe, but even allowing for that, I would guess we should be seeing around 4-7 trades per month, at least.

Update: After toying with this, I find a straight setting of "9" seems to work for me.
