    Any ideas?
Only 5 games in but starting to feel the same way already. Like the idea of upping pitch speed and dropping timing (I've got double digit hits each of my first 4 games) but cpu offense is patchy at best

I lowered the pitch consistency and control to 3 and that made the cpu better

The key (IMO) is to drop the pitch speed settings one notch below what you feel really comfortable with on All Star.
I hate quoting myself...but I wanted to clarify my previous post. The above statement is strictly from a "feel" standpoint. This does not include the requisite 80-100 games needed to get a statistically meaningful sample size.

Absolutely agree. It's more a question of knowing, having played this game for a long time, that I'm not going to be challenged at that level and figuring out what to do to bring that challenge back. The sample size, and indeed statistics, are neither here nor there...it is a feel thing at this point.

FWIW - I always use Armour’s sliders and play on the level that he suggests for both hitting and pitching (AS hitting and HOF pitching last year). After I hit those 3 homers on AS I moved up to HOF with default sliders (moved solid hits slider back to default for both human and cpu). I trust Armour will make this change as well when he returns from holidays.
I'm actually using his exact sliders on HOF. 9 pitch speed. It plays fair and true to the ratings. I hit a couple 400fters with Braun and Yelich. I even hit an inside the park HR with Cain where the LFer crashed into the wall and fell down. I beat the tag by a few tenths of a second. That was through 2 games. 10 and 12 hits respectively. Games felt fair.

Through 10 games I have exactly half the amount of total strikeouts (offense) as the 2nd place team.

Sample size of course, but that’s a real standout total. I’m not offensively explosive either on all star like many others..

I think AS would be perfectly fine with some 'knob-turning' as Armor says and if we had last year's hitting engine, I'd think that this would be the approach. However, with the hitting engine improvements, I think we can now take full advantage of the AI improvements you normally see with HOF while using the directional interface.

Regardless, I will be following whatever Armor and Marino come up with....it's the best set every year for me....this year will be no different, I am sure.

I don't know if I'm missing something but where/how do you set the trade sliders by month? AllI can find is the trade frequency slider.

There isn't one for every month, you just have to go in and change the trade frequency slider on the 1st of every month.

^this. Well done everyone on the reports so far. I've been lurking this whole time but just wanted to add that I also believe this is the year we go from Allstar to HOF hitting.

Curious, have the community made rosters dropped into the vault yet or are they still having issues?

I also dropped my consistency and control to 3 and if anything, the CPU got even worse!! Was gonna take it back up to 4 for more testing seeing as I got more a challenge from the CPU then.

I've thought about pushing cpu contact to 6. I like the control and consistency at 5 currently, don't feel OP and am walking a decent number, but think with contact and solid at 6 it will make cpu offense more threatening

Was also thinking this, but I’m getting idea CPU strikeout numbers and don’t wanna jeopardise that. Was hoping maybe cranking solid hits up again to 7 would allow more offends whilst maintinaing good K numbers.

If I’m still struggling with getting the CPU to pose a threat, I might have to go up to Legend and drop timing to 4.

If I remember correctly from previous years if you want to make the CPU more dangerous offensively you need a wider gap between your control and their contact. So if you lower your control down a notch you should raise their contact by one also.
