Would be nice, but since the game of football isn't as data-driven and isn't as much of a numbers game, i think a completely different approach would be needed, so not sure Nomo would jump on that train. If we are simply talking about having a detail-oriented and thorough person to make a great set, i think there would be no one better. Unfortunately, if memory serves, i think i remember him saying that he isn't much of a football fan or Madden fan. Don't quote me on that. I could be wrong, and don't want to spread rumors lol.

I have pumped the breaks this year on Madden, until i get a better idea if it will be worth my time snd money. The only way i play Madden is CPU vs CPU, so if someone does come out with a really good set, i will get it. (Unless the mood just hits me and i make an impulse buy sometime.) Not to make this into a Madden thread, what are your thoughts on it so far?

I am hoping Nomo returns in 19 with another baseball set. I got the feeling he got tired of the online-focused changes and patches that continue to affect Franchise, and move it further away from simulation baseball. Again, this is TOTAL conjecture, that's all me. But heck, i might even stick with MLB 18 next year for the same reason.

In terms of sabermetrics, I would agree. I can't think of a free site for football that rivals fangraphs. There used to be one, but then it went paywall. I remember living by it to set my Madden 12 sliders.

It would also be harder to track individual performance, even with the stats (like I knew Patrick Willis literally made 98% of his attempted tackles but tracking that would be time-consuming at the least).

With the data available (say someone who used a good site already and also happened to like Madden), I think it could be similar. Just more consuming because of nature of the game.

I haven't played Madden in years - since Madden 13. Used to keep up with a dynasty here for that franchise.

Loved your madden 12 Set . Probably the best one for coach mode-Cpuvs Cpu . Miss Nomo been using his sets for years with the show just love CPUvs CPU

Still early but so far in a handful of games, CPU is really struggling to generate any kind of offense. Pitching and defense seems a bit too strong, but that's usually the case every year.

Not in my games and I’m using th same slider set as last year.
              1. W 7-5
              2. L 2-8
              3. L 2-7
              4. L 6-7
              5. L 1-9
              6. L 2-9
Gonna be another long season for us Orioles fans, this was spring training

Are you using the 6/2 version? I believe that was the last one he put out

My results were based on default. In my last exhibition game, Chris Sale pitched a no-hitter against the Orioles, but Boston could only muster 2 runs to win 2-0. Felt like every game would be scoreless or 1-0 going into the 7th inning.

Yours results is looking better so far.

I did one game one default and it was a 4-2 score with both teams only getting 5 hits each.

Yes but I would raise Timing from 4 to 5 and lower power from 6 to 5.

I'm almost 20 games in using these and so far they seem pretty good. I do think I am seeing more errors, but not by much. One GREAT thing is that wild pitches seem to be less frequent.
