I wonder if this slider setting would work?

I don't agree with it, but this is MLB in 2018. SP's (even really good ones) only throw 70- 90 pitches a game.

I wonder if trying to mirror this trend in MLBTS 18 by lowering SP to 1 or 2 would work?

Chances are, the game engine isn't built for it, but wanted to gather some thoughts from OSers.

Face it, real MLB teams now have 8 relievers and 1 less bench player and use 4+ pitchers a night. Potential problem with the video game (specifically when simming) is that the cpu would have RP's around the league with 90+ appearances and over 100 IP each year.

    Any feedback appreciated.

Are you talking about in-game or during sims?

If you're talking about in-game, starters leaving the game between 70 and 90 pitches is easily achievable with a hook setting of 5.

It's funny because I used to be upset about starters getting pulled to early in MLB The Show, but it's becoming more normalized in real life.

      I agree w/ you...I think in-game would/is working - simming I think would be more of a concern.

It doesn't matter cause sliders don't effect what happens in Sims anyway.
