Take that Armor... haha.

I can't lose right now, I've had the most epic comebacks during this stretch. Late-inning walkoffs, ninth inning comebacks, you name it. This is the best I've EVER played on The Show and I'm loving it.


JUNE 26, 2020 | BRONX, NY

The Yankees scored three runs on five hits in the bottom of the first inning off of southpaw Jon Lester, but that was all they would score, as the Cubs came back yet again to win their ninth straight game, topping the Yankees in the Bronx, 4-3.

After falling behind 3-0 in the first, the Cubs came roaring back in the top of the second. Jason Hewyard put a ball in the right field stands on a solo homer, his eighth of the year, to get the Cubs on the board. Three batters later Jason Kipnis belted a no-doubt homer to right off of Yankees hurler Luis Severino to tie the game, 3-3.

Neither team scored another run until Jason Heyward's line drive inched over Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela to bring Kyle Schwarber in to score from second in the ninth inning. Trailing by one run in the bottom of the ninth, the Yankees would make it interesting as Tyler Hicks smacked his second double of the game into the left-center field gap. However, Cubs closer and long-time Yankees nemesis Craig Kimbrel recorded the final three outs of the game en route to his 22nd save of the year as the Cubs solidified their ninth consecutive victory.

Over the last couple weeks the Cubs have proved to not only to be baseball's most potent offense, but also arguably the most resilient team as well. During the Cubs current nine-game winning streak, the team has trailed in seven of the games, often late and have seen a number of walk-off and extra inning victories during the streak.

"It's been an amazing couple weeks," said Cubs first year manager David Ross. "This is a special group and they show it pretty much every day... we're never out of a ballgame and we've proven that time and again this year."

The Cubs will look to push their winning streak to 10 games tomorrow night as Kyle Hendricks (7-3, 4.24) will take the mound against James Paxton (7-5, 4.83). The Cubs have a comfortable 9.0 game lead in the NL Central division over the second place Milwaukee Brewers.

Cannot express how much I love this game through the ups and downs.

Lineup finally breaks out against Boston, 7 runs on 14 hits, one through nine finally clicking Mx great starting pitching from Chase Anderson going 6 strong innings aaaand the pen blows it as we get walked off by a Mitch Moreland solo shot lol.

Playing the Yankees right now, they score three in the first... again. Tack on three more in the third, I'm down 6-0... Meh, I score 6 in the 4th to tie it, 6-6. I feel unstoppable right now. Haha.

Won, 10-7. Make it an even 10 consecutive wins. 54-29 on the year.

No one that I know of. These are for directional, which is the most ratings-based hitting mode in the game. In other words, if you, "master," zone, whether you use the PCI or not, you're going to get better results simply because of user input. With directional and classic pitching it's virtually impossible to master those. If you get perfect timing with directional, you still might miss the ball entirely. In fact, I wish it happened more often, but it does happen, rarely. If you're using zone and you have the PCI placed perfectly (again, with or without the actual visual aide), and you time it perfectly, you'll get, "perfect, perfect," in which as the developers have said, you'll hit about .850 on those. And you'll never miss the ball completely.

We are doing our master draft board today as we prepare for the June Amateur Draft in Year 4.

I have done a ton of scouting. And of course I hope we see many of the players we have scouted.

We typically take a “BPA” approach but have positional tiers

Tier 1 - Starting Pitcher, SS, CF, C

Tier 2 - Closing Pitcher, 3B, 1B, RF

Tier 3 - Relief Pitcher, 2B, LF

For year 4 I am going to focus up the middle (C, CF, SS) and Pitching as always. We have had some great success in getting good prospects.

2017 Joel Cardenas (SP on the 26 man now), Steve Samual (CP on the 26 man now)

2018 Julius Cooley (C on the 26 man now)

We hope to land some blue chips prospects again!!! I will stream the draft sometime today/tonight.

Go to your profile....game options....general settings advanced set injuries to manual.

Then go to the injured list screen R1 and then remove the injury (you can also add injuries too).

Then go back to that setting and toggle back to on. Or you will not see injures if you leave it set to manual.

Armor...I see some people complaining of baserunning again (Auto) since last patch. I was wondering your take as I haven’t had any problems I run Cpu Cpu and the baserunning is good not great but aggressiveness is about right for me.

Armor...I see some people complaining of baserunning again (Auto) since last patch. I was wondering your take as I haven’t had any problems I run Cpu Cpu and the baserunning is good not great but aggressiveness is about right for me.

I control my baserunners and do not use auto. I have not noticed anything wrong with the CPU baserunners at all. They are just as aggressive as they were out of the box.

But obviously something is amiss with auto base running for those that use it. I hope the team can take a look at it and fix it.

I noticed while watching your streams, after the game they talk about scores/stats from around the league. I have all settings matching the OP and that never happens in my Franchise.

Is that a SOTS thing I'm missing?

Gotta keep grinding. 5-15 in my last 20. Started a 3-game set against the O's and it took till the 13th inning to put them away. The O's...that's where I'm at lol.

I noticed while watching your streams, after the game they talk about scores/stats from around the league. I have all settings matching the OP and that never happens in my Franchise.

Is that a SOTS thing I'm missing?

You need to have your play by play audio turned up to hear the “Inside The Show” radio show (as well as have that turned on as well in presentation options).

When I go back into the franchise hub after a game where I turned off the play by play....I turn the play by play back up (audio/presentation options) to hear the radio show.

Hang in there man. A week ago I was where you are now. But in the present time, I've won 5 straight and I'm getting hits on swings where the ball is 6 inches off the plate and im late on the swing. When it starts to break your way you feel like you get every break.
