Likely a dumb question, but why can’t they simply bring the ‘20 hitting engine back for ‘23? I’m assuming it’s not as simple as that.

It was a conscience decision to make the under the hood changed they did.

My take is if you have not noticed it and are enjoying the latest release then don’t mind me.

Enjoy what you want to enjoy and form your own opinion of what you want outta the game.

For my taste I am getting so much joy sticking with 20 and even going back and playing 17 as well.

Oh I certainly struggled through many games on ‘22. I just couldn’t get any offence from the CPU. Following your lead back to ‘20 and using a ‘22 roster saved the game for me. I’m back having a blast again with a Yankees franchise and a Phillies franchise

Simple Bullpen/Reliever adjustments

Human/CPU reliever stamina - 5
CPU Hook - 4

V3 is now updated on the OP this will be our final update and it is the first one we have made since 2021.

Human and CPU Reliever stamina is now set to default 5

For classic rosters set to 6


CPU Hook is now set to 4

For classic rosters set to 3

Armor are you using regular bullpen setup for CPU teams or 2 LRP, 4 MRP, a setup pitcher and closer. Also do you have setting on for pitchers to take their 8 warm up pitches when entering game. Thanks great sliders

I do not allow the CPU to use the LRP slot and I try my hardest to avoid the second SU slot.

I take my 8 warm ups.

Using 13 pitchers, I simply take my 2 lowest (overall rated) RP's whose stamina is below 40 (key point) and put 1 in the long slot and 1 in SU slot #2.

Just curious about the SU2 spot. Is it because it is “broken” and the reliever in that spot isn’t used very much?

So lowest ranked in LR1 and 2nd lowest in SU2?
