Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Just to be clear these are MLB 23 rosters on MLB 20 the show. I don’t think l there’s been a roster update on MLB20 in about 2 years unless I’m missing something or misunderstood your question.
Baseball: Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates
Basketball: Chicago Bulls
Football: Chicago Bears
Hockey: Chicago Blackhawks
College Sports: University of Oregon

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
Yankees Year 7 in roaring in June. We have a .5 game lead over those stinking Red Sox.
The Captain Series Yankees 1996 Season Replay has begun!!!
1995 we got bounced in the wildcard game by the Halos. The Indians were swept by the Braves in the World Series.
1985 Yankees Season Replay using M.Knights Turn Back The Clock is also in full motion.
Hope to catch some of you on Twitch as we stream all these rosters and Yankees Year 7 almost daily.

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
I have a really stupid question, but I've only been in baseball for three years
I decided to roll a 30 teams control franchise because I'm just sick of seeing stupid cpu trades
but and now the question is how do I trade sensibly
I'm feeling a little lost on how to go about it. I am aware that teams that are not doing well halfway through the season often give up players to prepare for the future, but how should I approach the whole thing so that it is realistic..
90s player for 3 prospects or 2
80's 2-1 prospects etc
Or to put it another way, how do you go about it?
it's actually more about between cpu and cpu tradesComment

Use a dice roll system. Armor has a great write up about how to do that in his MLB The Show 22 slider thread.

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
If 1st roll is 0-50 a trade can be offered.
If second roll is 0-33 trade can be accepted.
It's up to you to go around the league and create the trade scenarios.
Good rule of thumb is bad teams with good players whose contracts are set to expire should be looking to trade those players before the deadline.
Good/great teams may be willing to trade their really good prospects that are either stuck or blocked in the minors for a player that can help them win now.

Exactly everything he said.
So let’s say the Pirates have Andrew McCutchen who is in the twilight of his career...one a one year deal (expiring contract) but having a terrific season....it’s July and the Pirates are theoretically 9 games outta first.....they want prospects.
The Yankees come a calling wanting Cutch for a pennant run. They should be offering at least 2 “B” level prospects for him. Or 1 very young “A” prospect who is blocked for years by Volpe or Judge or whomever the Yankees have in front of said prospect or prospects.
DO the dice roll with the number system and see if the trade goes thru. Rinse and repeat with other teams.
As far as the who....that is totally up to you and creating those storylines is half the fun.Now Playing on PS5:

I see the ball so much better. Although I love Fisheyes view…..it finally became too much of strain on my 53 year old eyes.
I also love the old school in the box look of the Retro Cam.

For those looking to try out retro view, please increase pitch speed (by a ton) or the ball physics will look "off".
