My apologies to everyone about this evenings stream.

We were/are having server issues all night......so unfortunately we could not have a nice stream session with you all.

On the classic roster front we got some amazing news from Baumy.

He will be porting his incredible mid 90’s rosters as well as his brand new 2004.

2017 Yankees Year 4 Update now on the OP news wire. What I will do is keep a running blog/wire and leave the entire seasons worth of news stories up so everyone can follow along and catch up as well.

Once Year 4, the post season and off season is complete we will wipe it clean and start it up again on MLB 21 in 2021!!

I will also be doing a news wire for the 2020 Year 1 Marlins rebuild I have embarked on.

So be on the look out for that very soon!!! It will be the post below the Yankees news wire. The contrast of these two franchises is stark to say the least. But I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding (and potential relocation city TBD) of the Miami Marlins.

Bryce Harper started off the season slowly for me, but man has he picked it up. He has 9 home runs in the last 7 games and is batting over .400.

The first 2 games to start his assault he hit 2 homers in both of them.

The man is en fuego!

I only made one trade in my Indians franchise (traded for schwarber, he’s from where I live so I had to) and he’s started the year 0-26 so I hope he picks it up too lol

Quick question for y’all...especially who play with NYY?

Who the heck do you play at 1B when Luke Voit needs a day off? I just played a game vs Oakland and I put Tauchman at first to rest Luke. Tauchman committed FIVE ERRORS! All by dropping the ball on routine throws from my other infielders? Has this happened to anyone else? Cost me 4 unearned runs. Thankfully I won.

Mike Ford. Had to sacrifice Tauchman to AAA. Andujar is a DH specialist. LeMahieu can also do a job there as well.

My bench is Ford, Tyler Wade, Higashioka, and Hicks/Gardner depending on who is pitching.

This game and these sliders are amazing! The best sim sports game and settings ever!
I thought they were going to be too easy at first. At least offensive wise. I was pounding the ball over a 10 game stretch. I averaged 7 runs a game and was hitting 4hrs a game. Then you he last 6 games I’m struggling to score at all.
My last 6 games I’m 2-4. Scores below.
Lost 3-2 lost 2-0 lost 8-1 won 3-2 won 4-3 lost 1-0 lost 6-2
The game to game variety is off the charts.
I am now 18-4 in my Reds season and loving it.

I’m in a power slump. With my Braves I played 12 games with these sliders I am batting .262 which is good. But I’m struggling to get extra base hits. 71% of my hits are singles. I’m averaging 0.9 home runs per game. I am striking out 9.5 times per game. I think it is more of me not waiting for my pitch. Lost a heartbreaker to the Reds 2-1 in 12 innings. Had the bases loaded with nobody out in the top of the 12th inning and couldn’t score after 2 strikeouts and a fly out. Then the first batter in the bottom of the inning hit the walk off homer. Knew that was going to happen after leaving the bases loaded.

Thank you guys for the yankees suggestion. I couldn’t believe how awful Tauchmam was. He literally couldn’t catch the ball! SIX errors. I can’t believe I won. I was furious. Sounds like I may need to make a roster move, or I don’t mind the idea of DJ there. I almost threw my controller I was so mad. My wife was very concerned, lol.

For those people who were having too much success on Hall of fame as far as hitting, I have played a good amount of games on default veteran and they have played pretty well.

This includes pitch speeds being at default. Might be worth it to try and up the difficulty.

That being said I am still on hall of fame pitching as I get lit up often lol
