Just for record having Offspeed higher than Fastball, is gonna give you an advantage hitting. You're basically erasing the change of speed option for the CPU pitcher.

Personally I use 10 FB and 9 OS.

Honestly to me there's zero difference from default 5 to 10 . I started out at 7 and couldn't tell the difference from 5 at all , then went to 8 ,9 and then just maxed it cus all off speed pitches look like floating balloons to me . In the Show 19 I found it to be perfect at 7 for fastball and 10 off speed , I was challenged again and it just felt fair and I was playing to my players stats/attributes and performing as I should be. But in this edition of the game HOF hitting feels alot more like All star on 19 , just ridiculously easy . No challenge at all , i really don't want to be that guy that's complaining and saying I'm the best or whatever , but I'm just not challenged currently and have no idea what sliders to adjust or if i should just move up the Legend .

I can understand that, I was just saying that having Offspeed higher than FB is kinda opposite of realism. Are you ever late on FBs? Cause if your never blown away by FBs then that slider isn't high enough for you.

I'd probably drop User timing for you if you dont feel like adjusting pitch speeds.

Pitch speed seems a lot slower this year. I have both pitch speed sliders maxed out and I'm still very early on a lot of pitches.

Yeah I'm finding fastball at 8 is just perfect , I struggle when facing the elite pitchers and guys with good velocity . It's alot harder for me to crush homers from the fastball on 8 , and when facing mediocre/average pitchers I do well and have poor performance as well . Fastball is definitely not the problem , it's those Damn off speed pitches that are just way to slow looking for me and I just pick them apart .

Armor, I'm trying to start a franchise with 30 team control but there must be a bug or something cause lineups still being changed by the CPU even if I have it set up to manual. Have you seen this issue? Do you just go team by team and fix it? Thanks!

If you do not do every teams send downs before you advance to the regular season the CPU does them.

So you have to start in Spring Training and then before it ends handle every teams send downs.

Is everybody strikers batters out at a regular rate except me? I’m trying to not get hung up on this but I have guys with K/9 close to 90 and I’m getting about 4-6 strikeouts per game.

I'm not, strikeouts with your '19 sliders seem very normal to me, using them in '20.

Now this is what i want the games to play like . The best game ive had so far on the Show 20 , every at bat and pitch mattered here . Constantly grinding for everything here and not just crushing homer after homer and run after run without even trying . Games like this are just so satisfying especially if u manage to pull of the win . I think i managed to get 9 walks here as a team , i know i had 4 with Travis Shaw alone but just as quickly as Jake Odorizzi got in trouble he would just as quickly get out of it . I put power down to 4 for my last 5 games today and its been so much better , no more 4 home runs a game since i put it to 4 . Just a terrific game , Blue Jays vs the Twins , hope u guys enjoy as much as i did .
