Your slider should work fine with HOF Classic pitching right?

Anything you of think of that would need to be adjusted?

My set last year was unique like this and the same stuff is playing out. BUT, this game does play a bit differently than last year so the tweaking.

          I am a totally sim player - I wouldn't use these if they weren't.

I realize they are different from most. I love All-Star level hitting. Feels more organic. BUT, you have to make some concessions, otherwise it can become too easy. With the user contact at 0 and the other at 10 - it's a beautiful blend. Each hit feels like it was earned. I've even had a couple 10+ pitch at-bats. Stay patient. Wait for your pitch. The more you play the more you see the ball movements and understand the zone.

Regarding any other level - I have no idea. I've never played this game than how the OP is setup.

            Sounds good, thanks man!

I’m gonna combine your hitting sliders with Rmiok’s pitching sliders since he pitches with Classic.

              Some major updates - version 6.0 - June 14, 2020

Check the ** for updates (and also double-check your other slider numbers)

Note that I am the only slider creator who has the user hit / contact at 0 - which means other variables are changed to help with that major modification. I also have user foul frequency at 0 - again, I'm the only one to do this (I believe).

I am getting great variety and I think I'm about done with tinkering (I work on rosters more than I play).

Human Pitcher Consistency is now set at 1 - BUT, I'm thinking of even lowering it to 0 - I LOVE the challenge! But also the realistic way the game plays. Nothing more fun than pitching out of jams!

              Enjoy!

(Note - I play mostly with historical files - I have the 1995, 1997, 1998 & 1999 files in the vault, and I'm currently working on (at a much slower pace) the 1996 season.

I just can't get some things right...

The biggest struggle for me are 2 things:

                    - not enough user strikeouts - BUT, anything I lower by one click and the cpu offense goes to crap

                    - user offense is either nothing or overblown

I love all star hitting as it feels the most organic and not scripted, but I don't know...this is frustrating. Still tinkering.

Hey bud, it's the timing down if u want more strikeouts.

I know u use more unorthodox methods on your sliders, but just say u were on all star default and if u just drop timing down to 2 provides a great game and eliminates the crazy homeruns , of course we all like to tinker with other things as I have in my set.

I can tell u this whatever u had working up to 1.15 was fine since that patch everything's slightly off I had thoroughly test each slider and I've come up with a fix for mine.

Sad thing is another patch will be hitting the servers soon.

Been using these for the last two weeks. FINALLY. This is the ultimate slider set for realistic baseball IMO. However, did the latest update screw this up?

The most annoying things in the game that this slider set seemed to fix feels like it's back.

-I'm hitting into more double plays than ever, no matter where the pitch is located. Ground balls in general are suddenly way more prevalent.

-Feels more now like the contact being 0 is just punishing you for making great contact now instead of being something in the gap whereas before it was way more of a natural hitting feeling.

Timing once again feels screwed with. This set had me turning on balls inside and keeping them fair or peppering a ball down the opposite field line and now it's back to literally 99 percent of being early on a pitch is just a foul ball again.

The constant battle with sliders has made MLB 20 easily the most frustrating release in the series for me. Especially after putting these sliders in and it being near perfect for a minute.

                        Sorry for the rant

I haven't played this game for several days. Just wanted to let it sit. Got back into a bunch of Hardwood Classic files from NBA 2K11 on my 360.

I'll get back here on this - I'm letting some things dance in my head for a time while I mull over the problems I've had getting this set right.

Really interested in your Baserunning and fielding Cpu sliders...
I don’t see enough Cpu aggressive baserunning, stretching singles to doubles or taking extra base at third...never see Cpu baserunners and plays at the plate just nonexistent....

How do these sliders work for Cpu baserunning?

Only thing I wish I could change is the pitch speed to match HOF. I okay with pitch speeds at 10 and All Star is just a touch too slow when you have the low 90s pitchers against you. Plus once you move to HOF difficulty the "organic" nature of AS goes out the window. Frustrating lol.
