Anyone else use Meter Pitching?
I feel like I'm the only one who still prefers meter pitching. Classic is a nice idea but I get burned with meatball pitches I throw because I don't have the same control. I've never had a good experience with analog anything with this game so Meter it is. It gets old but I at least have the most control which I like. Anyone else have the same feelings?Tags: None -
Re: Anyone else use Meter Pitching?
I use to flip flop between pure analog and meter. I stopped with it because I never would keep a franchise going, the reason was i was always too good at pitching with meter/pure analog. I’d start out the year like 12-0 and then restart. I do use classic now, the ratings absolutely matter. I finally got my sliders dialed in and I’m 14 games into my Indians franchise sitting at 8-6.
I just think meter is hard to figure out. But I guess it just depends on what you enjoy. If you like “simulation” style of play I’ll always say directional/classic is the way to go

I use Hall of Fame Pitching with Meter. Normally I get realistic stats with some ups (back to back 2-hit shutouts) and downs (6 runs in the first two innings). For me, Meter is the setup i have the most success with.Comment

I'm using Meter since i started playing The Show back in 2016. Never really got Classic or Analog working for me.

Hahahahaha I laughed out loud at this.
I tried classic as I wanted to play using Armors setup and sliders but after a handful of games I just couldn’t get used to it. So I use all his settings except pitching. I’ll stick with meter for now.

Re: Anyone else use Meter Pitching?
Thanks sometimes I think I’m funny. You have to get used to every pitchers release points on classic pitching. That’s the key to get better control with them and actually have control of your pitches like you would using meter or pulseComment

Holding it down a little helps big time and you can even vary speeds and breaks with different times you release the button. Very rewarding once you get the hang of it.Comment
