Definitive sliders to reduce MoM HRs

Are there any sliders that definitely reduce the number of HR's in MoM? I'm seeing so many innings with 1 team hitting 2-4 HR's. It doesn't seem to matter what their HR rating is either. It's coming from players with 90+ power as well as players with power in the 30's. In fact, one player with a 31 rating has had 2 multi-homer games, and one game the pitcher he hit them off of had HR/9 rating in the upper 80's with the "excels at not allowing HRs" perk, or whatever it's called. But, as I said, it doesn't seem the HR ratings matter. So, does anyone have a slider set that actually helps this problem? Such a high % of runs come from HR's.

I know HR are up from last year, but it seems MLBTS took it to the extremes lol. What's your wind at? I saw in a mom thread that lowering it has helped. I lowered solid hits to 4 in my mom franchise. Haven't messed with wind yet, but I am seeing a lot of 10+ mph wind games.
Not confirmed or tested to any extent, but I have seen games where wind is blowing in, or across the field and if I go to the pause screen, it shows wind blowing straight out to CF and then it seems after that, it becomes bomb fest. But like I said, I haven't exclusively tested it.

Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

I'm going to set wind to 0 to see what happens. The number of multi-homer innings is driving me nuts. Just had one game where the Angels scored 8 runs with 5 HR's in 1 inning against pitchers who had HR/9 ratings in the 80's, and one was a 90. All of the runs came off HR's. I didn't check the wind.

        I just finished April

        2019 March/April 1,144 Real Life

        2020 March/April 1,127 MLB 20

My slider are at the default settings except for the following

Starter Stamina 6 (I am probably going to raise this to 7 so the starters are not pulled at like 75 pitches)

Pitcher Consistency 4 (I went to four because I was seeing very few HBP and Wild Pitches the first 10 games)

Manager Hook 4 (Basically to keep them from pulling the starters early) that could change though.

        Fielding Errors Infield 6
        Throwing Errors Infield 3
        Baserunner Steal Ability 7
        Injury 7
Trade 1 (This will move to 3 for May)

Your totals though are for the league as a whole. I’m curious as to where your team that you’re using in franchise stands in the team HR rankings

The stats for teams that games are simmed are pretty good. It's the played out games where stats don't match up to what the simmed game stats look like. Not even close. I look at box scores from simmed games and I'm not seeing teams with 5-10 HR's/game, much less 4 or more in an inning. BTW, even my teams have had HR outbreaks in one inning, so it isn't one sided. Multi-homer innings happen now and then IRL, but rarely do you see 4 or more in an inning. The real MLB record for most HR in an inning is 5, and that's happened 5 times in history. I've already seen at least that many 5 times in a 25 game spread (playing 2 teams). I heard that games that are played out use a different engine than simmed games so if that's true that would explain things.

Yeah I’m agreeing with that. I’ve been running my own set, with a lot of help from Dbaja22 since I feel like him and I have similar skill levels. For user I’ve been running:
              HOF
              Contact: 4
              Power: 4
              Timing: 5
              Foul frequency: 4
              Solid hits: 4
              Cpu consistency: 7
              Strike frequency: 4

I’m only a few games in but I have really enjoyed these changes.

I'd like to know what sliders you use. Both my teams passed 40 by the time they got to game 15. One of my teams had 12 in one game.

I am using mkharsh33's roster. I don't think that really makes a difference.

Try them out. If you or anybody can improve on them that would be great.

I'm 20ish games into my franchise and I have quick managed every game except for the Angels who I play actual games with. 99% sure sliders do not impact MoM with the exception of stamina, hook, wind, and injuries. Those are the same sliders that impact the Sim engine. Apart from the wind maybe. Thru those 20ish games I'm averaging 1.27 per team per game while the average last year was 1.40. And that is with me averaging 2.2 with the Angels.

I am using mkharsh33's roster. I don't think that really makes a difference.

Try them out. If you or anybody can improve on them that would be great.

Maybe it is the roster. I'm using the game roster. I'm going to have to try other ones I guess.
