I have had guys trot to second standing, I've seen guys slide in as the ball was getting to second and have guys thrown out at 2nd and/or 3rd. It just depends on the hit and where it ends up. Ice had guys rocket line drives to LF corner and only got a single. The variety is amazing.

Update to OP. I've decided to move FF to 5 and Pitch control to 6. So much better offense and both batter and pitchers play smarter baseball. Games play more to player ratings rather then dice rolls.

Ive had discussions on changing fielding, but I am not to that point. I think the fielding has played really good and with the 2 adjustments made, it really enhances fielding. Rocket hits go through the infield and will occasionally eat up infielders. So many new and different animations now.

Shout out to JoshC1977 for the confabs through pm. His knowledge of each slider really helped to make these changes.

Just a added note. Watch live roster updates. The only time I see the game playing weird and borderline not baseball is when I turn MLBTS on and it does the Live Roster Update.

Yr2 carryover.
Just had a 16 inning game. Final was 3-2. 9 hits to 20 hits. 14- 9 Indians @ 14-9 Boston. Both teams getting players on, then pitchers wake up and pitch out of jams. It was a crazy game and taxing on the bullpen. One side had 6 bb and 20 SO while the other had 6 bb and 12 SO. Unlike the previous game where the long ball played a big factor, only 3 total HR's and 6 doubles. It was a crazy game of baseball.

In baseball (real life) u have them crazy games . In my Franchise I have a good variety of games and the stats even out in the end . I'm in mid June I've played every game in my Mets Franchise. I'm on youtube under - Jerome Mickus

It was a fun game to manage. If I remember that game right, it was at the end of a long stretch, so everyone was already tired and looking forward to the off day.

SDS needs to seriously ****ing look at its game logic. Every series i face they have 3 starting pitchers full energy. EVERY SERIES. However I can't get my starting pitchers past 5, 6 innings or they aren't 100% for the next start. The game plays either really hot or really cold. No in between. The cpu pitchers fear no one in the lineup, but it doesn't matter if its your ace or #5 pitcher, they fear 1-9 in the lineup. If any of my batters have vision or discipline at the end of the season I'll be amazed. Absolutely insane how a stat based sport, can't be programmed better. Guys like Kluber, Cole, etc can strike me out 11+ times a game, but Clevinger, Bieber, Carrasco can't get more the 5 or 6 in an outing against any team. Again, goes on afraid to pitch to everyone
Here is your typical Starting Pitcher (pith per inning) outing. 12, 9, 17, 7, 35, or 28, 35, 20, 7, or 15, 21, 6, 19, 30. No matter how your team is pitching, it is always no clue how to pitch at 5 inning and then worn out. Now, every once in a great while, you can make it to 6th, but rarely. Again, it doesnt matter who is pitching. Ace, AAA brought up, doesnt matter. 4 innings lights out pitching, 5th, no clue how to pitch. Pitch count doesnt matter, and it all comes down to programming

Bottom line, do ratings actually mean ANYTHING in games other then simmed? Answer: Absolutely 0

Actual gameplay is awesome, dont get me wrong. I love watching gameplay. Its how it derives the stats through a actual game and season thats the problem

Another 4 inning lights out pitching 51 pitches 55% energy. 5th inning 45 pitches and never pitched a mlb inning in his life.

They work. Overall happy with yearly results and game results. Its good gameplay for the most part. Its how the programming comes to its stats thats the problem.

Carrasco on Indians..... never more then 5 or 6 innings, at least 1 to 3 hrs, no more then 7 SO, and at least 3 walks.

Carrasco pitching against Indians...... complete game shutout, 0 HR, 1 BB, 15 SO

Hhmmm, entering July, see a issue, but idk if it can be corrected or it's just another programming thing. Seeing constant 20+ hits total a game which is leading to high team averages, but not runs. On the pitching side it is leading to low team era's ......... nothing I'm sure I want to mess with as eras are in mid 3's and the highest team BA is .368.
