Josh what do you think about auto base running? Do you think that’s based on player ratings? I know you have assist for base running.

I’d be interested to hear Josh’s thoughts on this too, as this is one of the very few differences in how I play. I am an auto-base running user and have been for years. I’ve tried it on ‘Assist’ and find myself making too many mistakes that kill the realism for me. Similar to what happens when I put it on assisted fielding.

Not being snarky...but what else would it be based on?

I can't imagine it working any differently than the CPU's baserunning.

I prefer operating it myself because I like to give myself a chance to make mistakes.

When you guys go from all star to all star plus how much of a difference do you see in user and cpu offense?

Its kinda obvious, a step above AS in difficulty. Works great with these sliders. To get a feel for it you definitely have to play a good chunk of games.

When you guys go from all star to all star plus how much of a difference do you see in user and cpu offense?

I'm 93 games into my Bacon Reds franchise and am smack in the middle of both runs scored and runs allowed (4.03 runs scored per game, 4.00 runs allowed per game).

My last 13 games (just as an example....)

Does how far the meter is set on dynamic difficulty make any difference? Both my hitting and pitching are set to “All star +” however my hitting shows the dynamic meter just above all star while my pitching meter is right below HOF. If that makes any sense lol.

No it doesn’t matter. That just tells you how close you are to the next level.

As long as your pitching and hitting both say All Star + you’re fine. It doesn’t matter where on the all star + scale you are….just that you are at all star +

Just play a quick Play Now game using one of the legend teams vs a AA team with dynamic difficulty sensitivity maxed. You can even bias the sliders in your favor heavily during the test. As soon you cross into AS+, revert the DD sensitivity slider back to 0 and lock in the OP sliders.
