I am looking for veteran simulation franchise sliders for realistic stats.

    Basically what the title asks.

I have been playing around with a few different simulation sliders for franchise play. I play on veteran difficulty which is challenging for me. I have not seen any sliders for veteran simulation franchise play.

The sliders I have been playing with are simulation Hall of Fame difficulty which is too difficult for me.

I was wondering if there are sliders that are specifically made for veteran difficulty for simulation franchise mode.

I am looking to get close to realistic statistics during an entire season play.

I think you could probably be pretty successful with my setup (which is built around AS). It's really close to default but adds more universal tweaks that should still apply for Veteran.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

For batting, any level will work fine with any slider setup if Veteran or whatever level it is matches your skill level. Pitching difficulty depends on what pitching interface you use. Most players use two different difficulties for hitting and pitching.

More of the slider makers here tend to go with all star or higher because it is thought that all star represents the best combo of player ratings matter. I would agree. Or they want more of a challenge. I think going all star is the best way to get a simulation feel in my opinion as ratings matter. I would say as long as you have fun on whatever difficulty you pick, you are good.

I would disagree with your last line here. In my opinion, having to different difficulties set messes with the balance of the game. Just my thoughts.

I've heard that theory before. Not sure where it came from but it's not true IMO. Since they introduced different levels for each side of the game I've had different. Why would they make it possible to use separate difficulties if it does what u say? How exactly does it it effect balance? Examples? And have devs actually said this is true? The only thing difficulty settings do is increase or decrease the PCI circle, even using timing hitting and Classic pitching that's all it does. Take pictures of PCI on the difficulties and you can see that's all it does.

Yes difficulty does adjust the pci circle.

Back on MLB 19, I was in a carryover year for my Indians dynasty. I was playing 2026 and was 60-20 or so at the half way mark of the season playing on all star. I was tearing it up at the plate and was pitching well enough. I decided to up the challenge and go to hall of Fame hitting but stay at all star pitching. I did this for the second 81 games but put it back to all star at playoff time for a few reasons. I started seeing wonky hitting animations, both pitching and hitting. I started to see weird stuff in the field. With auto fielding, players started taken weird angles to balls and my defense suffered. I started to see weird ball trajectories and stuff I had never seen before. In an 80 game sample size with the difference, it was enough to see it wasn't right.

I had two 80 game sample sizes. An ample number of games and saw differences. Sliders all stayed the same. Straight default minus adjustments to stamina, wind, and trade sliders.

The evidence is there for me. Maybe not for others. But I see it so I believe it. The same goes for my thoughts on rosters. Not everyone sees it or embraces it, but I have the body of evidence in my opinion.

My original point is that more players tend to play one difficulty versus multiple. Look at some of the more used slider threads over the years. Tend to be one difficulty.

I will also say that I am on 20 still. I won't go back to 21.

            Either way, agree to disagree.

Fair enough. Until a dev says this is true I can't agree or believe that theory. Something that crazy would have to been designed on purpose. Even so, logically it would be very strange and make no sense if they designed it that way. No point in even having separate settings if it's broken lol. I've hit on rookie up to allstar plus this year and notice nothing odd while staying on legend pitching the entire time. Different ball trajectories to me just sounds like the PCI size change caused different angles of contact off the bat.

Thanks I will check it out.

I have had some recent success with a slider I downloaded and so far it seems pretty realistic for what the Major Leagues would do.

Thanks I will check it out.
