They were tough. I lost the first two games. 4-2 and 8-0. Walker and Peterson was tough. I faced DeGrom in game 3 and was thinking okay this is a sweep. I managed to score 3 runs and won 5-0. DeGrom went 6 IP 3 runs and 10 K.

It was really cool to see the difference from the 8-0 loss to the 5-0 win.

I lost my first series of the year to the Phillies. I almost got swept.

Pitchers duel. I had so many jams to get out of
Bassitt has a very good sinkerball and gave me 7 quality innings. I had one hit through 9. Alonso leads off the 9th with a double. Escobar homers the next at bat. Game over.

Right now I am 22-6 with a 7 game lead over the Phillies.

Despite my record I don't even have the best record in baseball. I have a good record but it is inflated to a certain degree. I have played a lot of games against the Nationals and Diamondbacks who are both terrible.

The Phillies just took 2 out of 3 and I had to homer in the 9th to stop a sweep. I know the season is about to get tougher.

I finally ended my 6 game losing streak. Astros swept me after White Sox took last two of three. Rangers extended it to 6 games with game one win. I finally got a win with a 5-0 shutout in game two. I have to get it together cause I'm flirting with Oakland for the cellar.

28 games in with these sliders. 15-13 with the Twins. I had one game where I lost 5-7 in extra innings to the dodgers, one game 9-0 to the white sox, and 20-1 to the Red Sox… that game was bad. But in the other 25 games I am like locked into scores of 4-2, 3-1, 2-1, 2-0, etc. Anyone else having these issues? Would like some more variety. The occasional 10-7 game or something.

Here are the scores of my last 10 games. Are you feeling like you are dominating on pitching? I been getting some variety in the games. Not really any slugfest but I play as Seattle. I know Steve had a 16-14 game in Colorado last week during testing.

first game after patch (and I don't think the patch has anything to do with it)

Twins beat the Guardians 17-0 !!! lol! my first real blowout it was 11-0 after 2 innings. Twins finally win their first game of the season and do it with 23 hits after only scoring about 3 runs in the previews series and everyone struggling I could have even scored more runs had bases loaded and left runners on. it was one of those games I just hit everything.

bad news though Buxton wen running the bases is out 1 to 2 months just when he was starting to get going.

Twins go to 1-3 and Guardians drop to 1-3

Bundy 8 shutout innings.

The first 6 games was. The last 4 games we are testing power at 3 for both sides. They hit 6 HR in the 4 games so the power is still there. We will post more about it tonight.

I would say the final scores are less important than batting averages and babip. There are a lot of games recently with the newest changes especially, where the cpu and myself are leaving a lot of guys on base.

Final scores do not tell near close to what happened in the game unless it's an obvious box score of 11 15 0 vs 2 5 0 etc.

Nonetheless the last 5 games were using power at 3 for both me and cpu with solid hits at 6.

Idk what to do about all these homeruns lol. For most they probably don't even think about there being too many and for some they may even enjoy and prefer the ridiculous amount of homeruns in these games. I'm tempted to just put power at 0 to just see if it's possible to have a single game without one lol. My last game the cpu didn't hit one but I hit two. Only the third time the cpu didn't hit one in all the games I've played which is insane.

For me this is a pretty big problem with the game, and has just gotten worse with the amount of homeruns year after year. I know this day and age is homeruns or strikeouts, I get it. But they go extreme with the homeruns and never enough swing and misses on default.

Bryan was telling me the other day out of 45 games this week irl there were 8 games without one homerun. That's 18% of games. So just to be fair, on average I would expect to not have a homerun 1 out of every 6 or 7 games at least. When I've played over 50 for sure and not had one I'm becoming annoyed by it to the point where I'm ready to test extreme setting of power at 0 just to see if it's possible lol

Jefferies hit the first one that started the blow out 2-0. then somewhere in the middle Sano hit a 3 run homer. the other 12 runs came from infield hits.

when homers were at 5 it was out of hand. i found 90% of runs came from homers. at 4 it was a huge drop. t

he league average right now in 2022 of homers is 1.2 per game very down on numbers. I will have to work out what mine is at seeing I actually have played all games in game.

Thanks! I know it will never be perfect but I am averaging 3.2 per game in my season in 18 games. That's at minimum power at 4 and last 5 games with it at 3. I would feel a lot better if I could get that down to at least 1.5 but 2 max average per game. The runs from homeruns vs rbi doubles and singles have felt okay though oddly enough.

Could it be that the pitcher consistency needs to go up?? to many home run bad balls are thrown? could that cut the homers down.
