Welcome to my MLB the show 22 Slider thread!!

My main focus is getting accurate hit totals and accurate strike vs ball distribution by both the user and CPU while maintaining a realistic challenge and experience. However, 1 thing that, no matter how good the sliders are, they can not account for a users skill. With my sliders, or anyone's sliders, if an aspect is too easy or to challenging for you, usually there is something small you can change to provide what you are looking for. just state your issue and wait for a response.

What has stood out as your biggest area of struggle? Pitching or hitting?

Well.. That's not following my sliders, I don't have pitch speed that high....

Well.. That's not following my sliders, I don't have pitch speed that high....

Oh ok well I can’t play with it any lower, ball looks like it’s floating and kills immersion for me

I mean... Where I have it set, someone did a side by side comparison and it's speed is pretty close to real life.

And if you can't hit it at 10, def lower it until you are hitting to easily then bump it up and work your way up to 10.

My eyes are adjusting….. the 6/7 speeds just look slow to me, irl a 97 mph is a blur and 10 replicates that the best imo

Lol yeah. But in real life, you can also detect what pitch is coming by seeing the hand of the pitcher and it's release. You can't do that in the video game. So gotta give yourself a little extra time to see what the ball is doing.

If they had something like MVP baseballs hitters eye that flashed a color right at release and that color indicates what kind of pitch it is, than I hear you.

But MLB the show gives you 0 way of knowing what pitch is coming other then reading the ball.

You need more time.

After a long break from the show, mostly because I replayed the entire God of War series and now Ragnarok, I returned and decided I did not want to use timing and classic. Stumbled across your video on YouTube and decided to give these sliders a go. I have never used analog pitching, not even when it was in the college baseball game all those years ago. I liked what I played tonight. I’m surprised there aren’t more people using these and commenting here.
