March 19th !! That is a full week earlier than last year.

That will give us plenty of time to play the game and work on getting the rosters and gameplay right before the season starts.

This just proves that people complaining that the computer cant hit just need to adjust the sliders.



People act like it is impossible to make adjustments to the game.



When the CPU got the score to 11-9 it became a test of my managerial skill to keep the lead.

This 1000%

I am very late to the 23 party and it took no time to dial it in....it also helped RaiderRen played extensively and shared his base set with me which I tweaked and tuned to my style and feel.

The CPU offense is alive and well. No doubt.

Game is awesome.

Slider feedback:

If I use the Mets in 2024 I am going to have to turn them into a fantasy baseball team instead of reality team. The Mets pitching is BAD so every game turns into a 1 hr 45 minute Slug fest where I keep having to fight for the lead because the CPU keeps coming back.

The Mets have a lot of average left handed pitchers who are not effective and they get killed.

I don't know about the other sliders sets but the CPU hits like a professional team. In fact the hitting is so good that you can't really use a team that doesn't have good pitching. You have to have better pitching to stop the CPU shenanigans. If not you will have LONG games with multiple pitching changes and a lot of base runners.

I'm thinking of using maybe the Braves again. March 19 isn't here yet so I still have time to experiment.

Mets just made some excellent bullpen moves. I am going to have to add them in and keep working with them.

I have cpu contact and timing at 9 and they are generating some offence, however it’s really mostly doubles and no homeruns. Would raising power to 6 give them more doubles? (Which I don’t want)
Any suggestions ?

I would raise power to 6. That should put some doubles over the wall. It will also put some thump in their hits so it should bump up their offense as a whole a little more.

I have a question Bryan.

I am thinking of pre ordering the Show this year so I can get early access. The season starts on 28th so pre access on the 15 will give me two whole weeks of play.

The question is did you get any benefit from the stuff they give you when you pre ordered the game the past couple of years. You know how they give you the stubs and packs. I can't remember what they gave people last year.

I have gamepass but I don't mind paying for early access. 4 extra days are like a eternity these days when you deal with rosters and game play.

I’m getting the $84 one cause I just want early access. I don’t do DD so I don’t need the stubs. I do cash then I for the extra sponsorships though.

It would be hard for me to come on here and see other people playing 24 so I get the early access.

Yeah, solid deal for sure. Last year you didn't get as much pre order fluff, but now we get it all for $40 (minus steel book and hat lol).
