        I know that. I said good base STEALERS, not fast runners. What I'm trying to say is if you lower the baserunner speed slider, it definitely effects the base stealing effects of the best base stealers on the game.

            Quick question for everyone...are you getting an abnormal amount of strikeouts vs the cpu? For us, this is the biggest hiccup we are facing currently. Everything else is perfect. I have tested the same settings of contact at 9 for two days now to no effect. It's very frustrating.

            I even tried same setting on HOF and it was still 10-15+ Ks every game. On legend I did drop contact to 6 but it was still the same with high strikeouts. I will test something different for like 10-12 games and see the same pattern. And no, I don't need 50-100 games to see a pattern. That idea is just silly to me as this is a video game, not real life baseball.

            Looking for ideas on how to combat this. The dilemma is getting the cpu not to strike out 10-15x every game, while still getting them to be competitive. What we don't want is realistic strikeout numbers, but the cpu barely hit over .200. Nor do we want them to hit near or over .300. It's extremely difficult tbh. We can get cpu batting averages and hit distribution spot on, but the Ks are extremely high. Therefore their BABIP is very high too right now.

            I know Bryan is testing contact at 10 currently and early on it seems better at least. But man, it's truly frustrating and I'm near the point where I'm going to hit only this year. Pitching is my favorite part of playing, but it's not fun at all striking them out sometimes close to 20x in a game. Cpu is striking out every 2.8 AB vs me which is absurd. Bryan I don't think has the same rate but it is still very high.

            Sorry for the long post, sorta just venting my frustration with this lol. I'm basically at a loss on this though. And what's crazy is a FEW on OS say they don't have this problem. How they do not is beyond me.

            Just wanted to see if anyone here is striking out the cpu at an alarming rate as well.

              Yep the games running perfect now since those changes.. fielder reaction is huge this year having that back to 5 is the difference between a double and an out. I think that’s what was causing blowouts along with the hbp for me early on.. now it’s good.

                  Through 6 games in my Reds franchise I am averaging 9 ks per game while pitching.

                    Dang, well I'm glad you guys aren't seeing a ton of Ks then lol. I can't seem to finish a game under 10 to save my life. We will probably finish up with something similar to last year with cpu contact at one digit or another, depending on if you need the cpu offense to be more threatening or not. I'm trying to get my hitting sliders down right now. I feel like I am close with all default basically except for solid hits and timing. I have a ton more to play with just hitting before those are set however.

                    Glad you all are enjoying what we have up now though!

                      Does anyone else think the Fielder Run Speed needs bumped up by 1? I've see too many times where an outfielder goes to cut off a decently slow line drive near the foul line just for the ball to go right by them.

                          I think they fixed the fielder speed issue where they run down almost everything. Should left at 5 this year, IMO.

                              Definitely like Fielder speed at 3 over 2. Not tested 4 yet but could try. We don't want them to run down and cut off everything and take away a bunch of XBH.

                                I see discussion of the CPU offense struggling and I chuckle. I'm using the Reds and their terrible pitching staff. I'm 4-14. I'm next to last in ERA (6.29) and hits allowed and dead last in runs allowed.
