Love the sliders fellas. Much appreciated!

I’m using pitch speed at 9/9.

I want the fastball to be fast. High 90’s should be extremely tough to hit. Then adjust and read from there like real baseball. It took a few games to get the timing and start taking walks but really enjoying it. Just takes a little getting used too.

Give it a try if your looking for more of a challenge!

I’ve been using these with the fidelity rosters and so far so good. I will say walks are tonight to come by, would I adjust CPU control or consistency for that fix?

Yeah we might have to go back to default. Or at least we did have control at 5 and consistency at 7. That helped the HBP issue a little bit. I think the CPU throws too many pitches around the plate. I’m not sure if that is why my average is high?

I continue to see way too many strikes from the CPU pitchers. It has made it to where I'm drawing 1 walk per game, when I was getting 4-5 pre-patch. One of the changes I see is personalized umpires calling every borderline pitch a strike. Also, I just played a game where 5-6 pitches completely out of the strike zone box were called strikes.

I continue to see way too many strikes from the CPU pitchers. It has made it to where I'm drawing 1 walk per game, when I was getting 4-5 pre-patch. One of the changes I see is personalized umpires calling every borderline pitch a strike. Also, I just played a game where 5-6 pitches completely out of the strike zone box were called strikes.

Set strikezone setting to average or even perfect. I like average a lot cause borderline pitches are sometimes called strike and sometimes called a ball.

I would try going to default for CPU control and consistency. See if that helps. I have been seeing less walks as well.

I think some people use these with meter. They should be fine. If you start to get too good with meter, I would start to lower control if you find yourself throwing too many strikes. Let us know how it goes.

I use meter and they work for me.

You can also adjust to your preference because meter is a lot different than the rest of the methods.

The sliders give you a good starting point.

Well I decided to start my franchise last night, and lets just say it didn't go so well....lol

I loaded up my rosters and these sliders and the first thing I notice is the cpu reset everything...so I had to go in and fix my pitching rotation as well as my batting lineup.

This is where things get ....lets just say interesting...lol I start my first game of ST against the Brewers, and at first things start of very positive with Freeman hitting a bomb in the 1st inning, so I'm thinking to myself this is going to be a great opening ST game.

Then it happens...Urias couldn't pitch for crap and was all over the place, he had absolutely no control and was pitching a terrible game, but that's not the worst part of all this.....the Brewers are hitting me all over the damn park, but for some reason my fielders are absolutely freaking out when it comes to throwing the ball back in or getting a routine ground ball and throwing it to 1st for the out.

I had sooooo many overthrows to the tune of ending the game with 5 errors...lol I have NEVER had that many errors in this game for as long as I've played it.

So at this point I'm starting to freak out, checking the sliders to make sure everything loaded in fine...check those were fine, then it hit me....check my lineup!! and BOOM there was the issue, for some reason when reordering my lineup to mimic the Dodgers lineup, the game decides to put Vargas at Catcher and Will Smith at 2nd base.

Well as it turns out neither one of those guys can make a throw playing out of position to save their lives....lol... The game completely changed their position for whatever reason and I had to change their position back to their norm.

Needless to say, I ended up losing the game 10-5, due to terrible pitching and the fact that my guys were for some reason playing out of position and committing 5 errors...

After the game I am already checking out the free agent starting pitchers as well as some quality arms for the bullpen, for some reason I cannot for the life of me pitch with Urias, wasn't able to during my test games and that has carried over to the start of my season....lol Sorry for the long winded post, hopefully none of you guys have experienced the weird lineup changes or anything though...lol

I don't THINK I changed their position, alls I did was set their place in the lineup and off I went...I just cannot believe that an out of position player cannot throw the damn ball, especially when the game decided to put my catcher at second...HELL he throws the damn ball to second from homeplate and he can't throw it from second to first? yeah ok...lol

Maybe I'll look at the Cubs starting pitching...lmao It would be hard to get rid of him though as IIRC he's only 26 and rated an 88 with A potential, so it would be real hard for me to dump him, but I will say this...if I continue to struggle to pitch with him I may have no choice.

Slider Feedback:

In my last game versus the Padres Max Scherzer had 89 pitches through 5 innings and Yu Darvish had 103.

I also have made errors in 3 straight games.

In one game against the Marlins they used 7 different pitchers over 11 innings.

I am seeing a WIDE variety of everything.
