I know Rmiok uses classic pitching on Legend so maybe try Classic on Legend. I think you saw the difference because you were on Legend and not just because it was meter. You'll probably see the same thing if you used meter on Allstar. Probably even worse cause the meter would be slower on Allstar, correct?

Interesting, I could try that. I just assumed meter was the solution and the problem was classic pitching.

I think the meter is slower on AS but I'm guessing. I've never used meter until last night.

Finally back to playing games after being sidetracked.

I was up 6-0 and cruising with Verlander in the mound in the 6th and then they hit back to back homers off of him to make it 6-2 .He finished the inning but I had to take him out due to pitch count-100 pitches over 6 innings.

The Braves kept chipping away including a 2 run homer in the 9th. I held on to get the victory. I am in a 1st place tie with Atlanta.

It seems to me the deeper you go in the season the better the CPU hits. It is really hard to get a victory against a good team. I went from a shut out to trying to hold on. Olson and Azuna hit back to back homers off Verlander out of nowhere with 2 outs.

I am going to really start getting these games played now.

The biggest mistake that SDS made is that instead of just letting the announcers just call the action they try to make them a part of the game.

If I have to hear one more time how Francisco Lindor is Mr Smile I am going to break the TV.

Oh yeah he likes mixing his cologne's too.

It’s a really poor audio design IMO, has no replay value when the stories are so specific. It’s meant for surface level play, fist time playing against that player etc and not meant for the long haul of play

You should make a trade for Gleybor Torres, Andrew Benintendi, George Springer, Trey Mancini, Tyler O'Neil, and all the other players that have stories and put them all on the Mets. They'll be so busy telling the stories they won't announce the game. LOL

I do enjoy like the small stuff like where they went to college but they can drop the full stories. They are really cool at first but not so much after a couple of times.

It would be really cool if they could put a code in there to not repeat that stuff in a specific franchise. Once they say it, it is done in that franchise.

Or just keep the little added parts of where they went to collage or how they got drafted. You can tolerate that a little more through the season. I wanted to play with the Yankees this year but I couldn't listen to his suit story every game.

I have actually tried our sliders and have played 3 games using our sliders and using RMIOK's pitching sliders on Legend. Which are closer to default. And honestly, the games feel the same to me. So what we have is similar to default Legend.

Yeah, Jcar this is what my experience was as well. Default legend plays pretty well, and I couldn't tell much difference between that and our sliders. Our fielding sliders and user pitching control/consistency were really only things that I could tell a difference from.

I’ve been having some high hits & averages through my games, both played and simulated. The scores are still realistic where I get a variety, and I still lose, but on simulated & played games I’m getting 10+ hits pretty consistently as well as the CPU. Individual averages are a little high but not too crazy, but team batting averages are about 10-20 points higher than normal. Would a switch to legend help with this?

How many games played? Probably will even itself out. Simulated games, there isn't a slider that will effect the offense.

Loved this thread last year, posted a few updates from time to time from my Mets franchise. Unfortunately, I got a bit burnt out once football season hit (always happens lol), but this year my Rangers are finally interesting enough to run a full season with. Your sliders were on point last year, loved the game variety especially. I had been waiting on the full minors roster, but realized the franchise to fidelity roster had been out for a while already so it’s franchise time now! My only impression of the game so far is the soundtrack is as good as it’s been in a while! Can’t wait to grind it out this summer with you fellas, gonna be streaming every pitch. Time to set up 30 team control

Thanks for the update. Glad it is working out for you. It is crazy how other years we have been trying to tone down HR and this year seems like we have to give them a boost.

Maybe SDS was trying to replicate the juiced baseball Manfred implemented from ~19-21? I think consensus was it they went away last year (aside from judge’s abs) so maybe that’s why power is limited a bit this year?
