Anyone else seeing low CPU HR numbers? I’m on Legend pitching with contact and power at 6 and I’m just not seeing many HR’s from the CPU. All their other hitting numbers are spot on.

I’m giving up roughly 1 per game

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I’ve just finished a 10-game sample in various exhibition games and the CPU hit 1 HR against me!
They hit .267 and averaged 9.6 hits a game and 4.2 runs and 2.4 doubles a game but only 1 home run in that entire 10 game sample.
I’m really not sure what to change but I was thinking of just bumping their power to 7/8 and seeing what happens.
I’m starting to think the USER hitting settings really have something to do with the CPU output. I’m on HOF hitting with contact at 5, power at 5 and timing and solid hits at 3.Comment

Are you using classic pitching?

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
Well you’re not only using pulse pitching but you’re basically playing 10 one game samples. The game has played a lot different for me from career more to exhibition games.
I suggest you test game out in career mode and maybe give classic pitching a try. Pulse is fun and a all but not what this set was designed forComment

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
if you use any of the options that favor user input: pulse, analog, meter, pinpoint: you are going to shut down the cpu.
While Directional hitting / Classic Pitching are probably playing the best they ever have vs the cpu, all of the user input based options are completely overpowered versus the CPUComment

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I've moved cpu contact back to 5 but raised timing to 6 and solid hits to 6. Was never seeing the cpu chase outside the zone and too me any 1 pitch outs.

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I’m not shutting the CPU down by any stretch of the imagination but they just don’t seem to him HR’s against me.
The Padres got 19 hits against me one game I played but not a single HR hahaComment

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I use clean screen and classic pitching on Legend. I went with CPU Contact and Solid Hits on 6 and the red default. Getting great results. You can also make the cpu more dangerous by lowering your consistency and control.

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I stupidly always thought Classic was actually what Analog is all the user input stuff really put me off because I like the attributes to affect the outcome more than my ability (sounds stupid, but I’m a sucker for more realistic outcomes as opposed to me just mowing down the CPU because I’ve mastered a technique).
Can I ask, what visual aids do you use for Classic in terms of the pitching ball marker? Do you have the pitch trail or the chevrons if anything at all?
And would you say Classic is the best representation for realistic, attribute based results?
Would also love anyone else’s input on this and what their setup is.Comment

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
Thanks for this info! For clean screen do you just remove the strike zone and have no pitching ball marker? That’s probably what I’m gonna give a shotComment
