TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
    Game #1 of Season

Baltimore Orioles (0-0) @ Boston Red Sox (0-0)
Pitching Matchup – Kyle Gibson vs Corey Kluber

    GAME NOTES
The season got off to a shaky start for Corey Kluber as Cedric Mullins jumped on the very first pitch of the season and launched a solo HR down the RF line giving Baltimore a 1-0 lead. Kluber bounced back and struck out the next 3 batters. The Red Sox were threatening after a double by Rafael Devers in the bottom of the 1st but Kyle Gibson struck out Masataka Yoshida to strand Devers at 3rd base and the Orioles had a 1-0 lead. Kluber picked up two more Ks in the 2nd inning giving him 5 Ks and Gibson retired the side in order as the Orioles led 1-0 after 2 innings. Baltimore was threatening with two men on with 1 out in the top of the 3rd but Kluber would get Adley Rutschman to ground out and picked up his 7th strikeout as he got Anthony Santander on a breaking ball to end the threat and keep it a 1-0 game. Alex Verdugo singled with 2 outs in the bottom of the 3rd but Gibson struck out Devers to send the game to the 4th inning with Baltimore leading 1-0. Kluber and Gibson continued to pitch well as each team had generated 5 hits and the score remained 1-0 through 6 innings of play. Kluber registered his 8th and 9th Ks as he struck out Adam Frazier to end the top of the 7th and Gibson worked around a lead off single by Adam Duvall in the bottom of the 7th to send the game to the 8th inning with the Orioles still leading 1-0. Jorge Mateo lined a ball into the LF corner for a lead off double to begin the top of the 8th and that would be all for Kluber as Richard Bleier came in from the pen with Mullins coming up. Mullins would poke a ball through the right side into RF for a RBI single as Mateo scored to make it 2-0. Anthony Santander drove in Mullins with a RBI double off the green monster with 1 out to make it 3-0 and Ryan Brasier would come on to replace Bleier on the mound. Brasier would record the final two outs with no further damage and we would head to the bottom of the 8th with Baltimore now leading 3-0. Gibson retired the side in order in the bottom of the 8th sending the game to the 9th inning with Baltimore leading 3-0. Zack Kelly recorded two quick outs to begin the top of the 9th before Mateo blooped a ball down the RF line for a round rule double and Mullins hit a slow roller up the middle for a RBI single into CF extending the Orioles lead to 4-0. The Red Sox came up to bat in the bottom of the 9th trailing 4-0 and Gibson returned to the mound at 99 pitches looking to finish off the complete game shutout. Devers lined a single into CF leading off the bottom of the 9th for Boston. Turner would go down swinging before Yoshida lined a single into RF to put two men on for the Red Sox with 1 out. Adam Duvall stepped in and jumped on a first pitch fastball from Gibson and hammered a ball over the green monster in left-center for a 3-run HR to cut the Orioles lead to 4-3. Gibson would exit and Felix Bautista would come on looking to record the final two outs for Baltimore. Triston Casas would battle to a full count before lining a ball into left-center and Christian Arroyo followed with a single to CF and suddenly Boston had two men on for Reese McGuire with 1 out. McGuire would fly out to Santander in deep RF for the 2nd out as Casas would tag and advance to 3rd base bringing Kike Hernandez to the plate with the Sox down to their final out with runners on the corners and the tying run just 90 feet away. Hernandez would hit a fly ball to CF and Mullins would move back and make the catch to end the game as the Red Sox rally falls short and the Red Sox fall to the Orioles 4-3 on Opening Day

I feel the exact same way about Dynamic Difficulty. It is especially frustrating to hit a ball 110mph and a fielder make a diving catch on it, only to see your progress go backwards because the fielder got you out instead getting of a base hit. Or when you work a 10-12 pitch at bat and finally line out hard somewhere and again lose progress. Those are good AB's

Can I save my settings setup and have different sliders and setup for separate franchises? I was thinking of doing one franchise on a zone hitting and one on timing!

I'm not opposed to it, need to get 5 to 10 games into my franchise though to see how the numbers look

Yes, you can have multiple sets of sliders saved and load them at any time into any of your franchises

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                    Game #2 of Season

Baltimore Orioles (1-0) @ Boston Red Sox (0-1)
Pitching Matchup – Dean Kremer vs Chris Sale

The Red Sox and Orioles were scoreless through 3 innings as Chris Sale and Dean Kremer were both pitching well early and had each allowed just 1 hit through their first 3 innings of work on the mound. Sale picked worked around a walk to Anthony Santander in the top of the 4th and was up to 5 Ks through 4 innings. The Red Sox were threatening in the bottom of the 4th after a lead off double by Alex Verdugo and a walk to Rafael Devers put two men on with nobody out but Kremer would work out of trouble and send the game to the 5th tied 0-0. The Orioles opened the scoring in the top of the 5th when Austin Hays doubled after Adam Duvall failed to hang on after attempting a diving catch on Hays sinking liner and Ryan McKenna followed with a line drive into CF for a RBI single to give Baltimore a 1-0 lead. Cedric Mullins would fight off a couple tough two strike pitches with 2 outs before hitting a hard ground ball right on the 3rd base line into the LF corner with McKenna racing around and just beating the relay throw to the plate to make it 2-0. Adley Rutschman followed with a ground ball up the middle for a RBI single to extend the lead to 3-0 before Sale would get Santander to ground out ending the frame with Baltimore now leading 3-0. The Red Sox put two men on with 1 out in the bottom of the 5th but Kremer would get Kike Hernandez to bounce into an inning ending 6-4-3 double play to send the game to the 6th inning with Baltimore leading 3-0. Sale struck out the first two batters in the top of the 6th before Ramon Urias drew a 2 out walk before Austin Hays smoked a ball high off the green monster in left-center and Urias would try to score all the way from first base but was cut down on a good relay throw from Hernandez to the plate for the 3rd out to keep it a 3-0 game. The Red Sox bats came alive in the top of the 6th as Rafael Devers would get the Red Sox on the board when he turned on a fastball and hammered a rocket down the RF line for a solo HR to make it 3-1. Justin Turner followed with a single into CF and Adam Duvall would single to LF with 2 outs to put two men on for Triston Casas who jumped a first pitch fastball and lined it into the gap in left-center scoring Turner and Duvall for a two run double to tie the game at 3-3. Austin Voth came in from the pen to take over on the mound for Kremer and walked Christian Arroyo to bring up Reese McGuire who lined a ball towards the gap in right-center but McKenna would make a nice running catch to end the inning and we would head to the 7th inning with the score tied 3-3. Sale returned to the mound for the top of the 7th and struck out McKenna and Mateo before getting Mullins to ground out to finish his outing as he goes 7 innings allowing 3 runs and striking out 9. Alex Verdugo came up with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th and jumped on a first pitch fastball from Voth and launched a 421 foot missile into over the bullpen in RF for a solo HR to give the Red Sox a 4-3 lead. Voth came back to retire Devers and Turner ending the 7th and we would go to the 8th inning with Boston leading 4-3 and John Schreiber coming on to pitch the top of the 8th. Adley Rutschman worked to a full count leading off the top of the 8th and fouled off a couple tough two strike pitches to stay alive before hitting a towering fly ball into the Red Sox bullpen for a solo HR to tie the game at 4-4. Schreiber came back to retire the next 3 batters and get out of the inning with the score tied 4-4. Voth remained in the game for Baltimore and had two strikes on Mastaka Yoshida leading off the bottom of the 8th when Voth tried to put him away with a fastball up but it stayed in the zone and Yoshida crushed it 426 feet over the Orioles bullpen in RF for his 1st HR in the major leagues and it was a big one as it gave the Red Sox a 5-4 lead. Tyler Wells came in to replace Voth on the mound and Adam Duvall sent the first pitch he saw from Wells into the green monster seats as the Red Sox get back to back HRs to take a 6-4 lead. Kenley Jansen would make his Red Sox debut as he was on to pitch the top of the 9th looking to close it out for Boston with a 6-4 lead. The Orioles got a lead off single up the middle by Urias but Hays would fly out to deep CF for the first out. McKenna was due up next and he would hit a chopper to the right of the mound where Jansen would field it and make a good throw to second base to start a game ending 1-6-3 double play as Jansen records the save and the Red Sox get their first win of the season 6-4

For the sake of saving time, I will begin shortening the game recaps a bit going forward

I'll still post a shortened recap/story while providing game notes, highlights and box score

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                        Game #3 of Season

Baltimore Orioles (1-1) @ Boston Red Sox (1-1)
Pitching Matchup – Cole Irvin vs Tanner Houck

The Red Sox jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the 1st when Justin Turner doubled to put runners on 2nd & 3rd with 1 out for Masataka Yoshida who picked up a RBI on a ground out to Mountcastle at 1st base/ Tanner Houck was pitching well early for Boston and was through 3 scoreless innings on the mound. Boston added to their lead in the bottom of the 2nd when Turner doubled and came in to score on a RBI double by Yoshida to make it 2-0 after 3 innings. The Orioles were threatening in the top of the 4th after singles by Gunnar Henderson and Ramon Urias put runners at the corners with 1 out but Houck would strikeout Austin Hays and get Adam Frazier to ground out to escape the jam and keep it a 2-0 game. Irvin recorded two quick outs to begin the bottom of the 4th before leaving a pitch up in the zone to Kike Hernandez who drove it into the green monster seats for a solo HR to make it 3-0. Houck and Irvin pitched 1-2-3 innings in the 5th and the Orioles would get on the board in the top of the 6th when Hernandez booted a ground ball at SS allowing Mountcastle to reach with 1 out and Gunnar Henderson short hopped the wall in left-center for a RBI double as Mountcastle slid in safely at the plate to make it 3-1. Ramon Urias punched a liner into RF for a RBI single to cut the deficit to 3-2. Houck would get out of the inning to finish his night and exit with a 3-2 lead. Tyler Wells replaced Irvin on the mound for Baltimore after a 1 out double by Verdugo in the bottom of the 6th and Wells would retire Arroyo and Hernandez to strand Verdugo at second base and send the game to the 7th inning with Boston leading 3-2. Richard Bleier took over on the mound to begin the top of the 7th for Boston and Cedric Mullins punched a ground ball through the hole into RF for a lead off single. Rutschman bunted Mullins into scoring position. Bleier would retire Santander for the 2nd out and Chris Martin would come on to face Mountcastle with 2 outs in a big spot. Mountcastle hit a ball back up the middle that hit Martin off the leg and reached for an infield single to bring up Henderson for a huge at bat with runners on the corners and 2 outs. Henderson hit a ground ball in the hole to the left side and Hernandez would get to it but had no play as Henderson was safe at first with a RBI single as Mullins scores to tie the game at 3-3. Martin came back with a huge strikeout of Urias to end the frame but the score was now tied 3-3. Bryan Baker came on to pitch the bottom of the 7th and would leave a cutter up in the zone to Connor Wong who was able to elevate it just enough to get over the monster for a solo HR to put Boston back on top 4-3. Martin returned to the mound for the top of the 8th and struck out the side making it 4 straight Orioles hitters that went down on strikes as Martin sends the game to the bottom of the 8th inning with the Red Sox leading 4-3. Yoshida and Duvall hit back to back singles to put two on with nobody out against Keegan Akin in the bottom of the 8th. Christian Arroyo would line a RBI double in the gap with 1 out to score Yoshida making it 5-3 and Akin would intentionally walk Hernandez to load the bases and try to set up a double play with Wong coming up. Wong would work to a full count and draw a walk to force in a run extending the lead to 6-3. Mychal Givens would replace Akin on the mound for Baltimore and got a huge K of Refsnyder to bring up Rafael Devers with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Givens would get a head in the count before leaving a fastball up to Devers who launched it into the Red Sox bullpen for a grand slam HR to blow the game open as the Red Sox take a 10-3 lead. Zack Kelly came on to pitch the 9th for Boston and recorded two quick outs before Anthony Santander went opposite field for a solo HR to make it 10-4. Kelly would get Henderson to fly out to Duvall in CF for the final out and the Red Sox win 10-4

Loving these sliders so far. Only have two things I had questions on that maybe you can help me with.

                          1. It seems like since I moved up to HOF hitting that the only hits I get are either singles or homeruns. I've played about five games so far and noticed this. Anything I can adjust so that I see more doubles and less homeruns?

                          2. I'm thinking of bumping up fielder reaction speed by 1. I've noticed several balls get by my outfielders that definitely should be singles that they can't get to fast enough and get by and go to the wall. Have you noticed this at all in any of your games?

Hi mate, like every year, I try to restart a franchise with the Dodgers and like every year I continue to use your Gameplay/Sliders set.
So far, after 5 games I have to admit that it is paying off very well, the whole complete set
I'm having a lot of fun and I'm pleased to note that the matches are coming out very balanced and fought.
I continue to follow the post for any changes to the sliders or gameplay.
Hoping, this season, that I will be able to be more consistent and to be able to complete the Franchise.

I have not had those problems at all man

Do you use POWER SWING? I 99.99999% of time use only the X regular swing....maybe that could be part of it?

Feel free to try tweaking any slider you feel like you need to ......maybe even try just SWING TIMING and see if things change
