@armor. I assume once they are dialed in, you'll be sharing any adjustments that need to be made when playing with classic era rosters?

Great sliders. Only issues I am having on my end are lack of Strikeouts for Human Batters and Low CPU pitch counts. Honestly, those are issues caused by my own self for being aggressive and swinging early in counts as soon as I get a pitch in the zone.
I definitely did not play 23 as much as I only had 41 hours in the game before dropping it over the summer. Similar to 21 and 22 after the hundreds and hundreds of hours in 20, I just wasn't having fun. I am going to start a franchise and see how far I get. I have no plans of purchasing The Show 24 until it goes on sale unless it it is a major upgrade. The only way I see that much of an upgrade happening is if they stop making the game for the older consoles.

If I may ask what is your guys bullpen setup for 1985? In terms of the 3 LRP spots, 4MRP spots, 2 SU spots. Obviously closer goes in the closer spot. How many pitchers did teams use on a staff? Was the number different from the American League to the National League? Thanks.

If I may ask what is your guys bullpen setup for 1985? In terms of the 3 LRP spots, 4MRP spots, 2 SU spots. Obviously closer goes in the closer spot. How many pitchers did teams use on a staff? Was the number different from the American League to the National League? Thanks.

Because we have to carry 26 on the MLB roster (even for classic rosters), I set up the bullpen this way (carrying 12 pitchers and 14 pos players).

CP goes in CP slot
Top rated SU guy goes in SU slot 1
SU slot two I keep empty
My long reliever / spot starter goes in Mid 3 slot
My 2 worst RP with stamina under 40 goes in Long slot 1 and 2
I stack rank the 2 remaining RP's and put them in mid slots 1 and 2.

If you want to carry 13 pitchers - still stack rank the 3 remaining RP's and then all 4 mid slots will be full ). Spot starter / long relief guy goes into mid 4 slot in this scenario.

Is this the go-to setup for simming? I saw other suggestions, having the worst rated RP in SU2, and the second worst in LRP for example.

Fielding errors need to be addressed. The higher values aren’t actually leading to more errors but more diving bobble stops. Quite the eye sore game after game

False. Tested this extensively at default and am seeing the same amount of diving missed balls.

Coding. Not a slider issue at all.

I know we complain about bullpen management in this game. But in my game last night, we were tied at 3 in the 8th inning, and the AI used the SU1 for the 8th inning.

That was nice to see.

Regarding starter stamina, what's the number of pitches should we be looking at for cpu to start fatiguing with these settings. Or are we looking at innings pitched to judge the fatigue.

It all depends on their stamina rating and also remember guys are not always full every every start.

On classic rosters simply do this:

Starter Stamina 8
Reliever Stamina 5

CPU Hook 8

Once they go to the pen move it to 5

I don't see any reason with ATG to edit starter stamina ratings pre game lime for modern day.

Modern day chise use the OP siders and edit the scheduled CPU starter with adding 10 to stamina and edit back post game.

Ok so Post 3 will be updated with these 1980's classic roster adjustments and they should work great for 1970's, 80's, 90's

HUM/CPU Starters Stamina 8
HUM/CPU Reliever Stamina 5
CPU Hook 3
Base Stealing Ability 8
Base Stealing Frequency 7

Once the CPU goes to the pen move hook back to 4

That's it. Everything else is V2
