I'm still getting daily "So and So and thrown a Complete game Shutout" on the ticker. Maybe I need to check that I have the Sim sliders set correctly.

I did start the year with SP Stamina at 2 when I sim. But I saw the low SP innings and starters not getting 5 IP when they were pitching well according to the boxscore. I ran two test franchise with the stamina at 5 and hook at 10 and there were 32-33. In 2023 in real life, there were 34. And the number of pitchers that had 200 IP were really close to the MLB average from 23.

We probably have some wiggle room and people can move hook down to 8 or 9 depending on their preference.

I have only played one game so far, I have been looking for more challenging sliders than at the All Star level.

First game was epic. I am the Phillies. Played the Braves. Was up early 5-1, Nola had his typical Nola inning where he gets hit around, and they tied it up 5-5. Goes 5-5 into extras, Marsh misses diving for a ball, Braves up 7-5. Get the bases loaded, and Whit is up. Whit is playing for Harper, since he has a tummy ache and didnt play him. I put in Harper, 3-1 pitch, walk off grandslam.

Awesome.

I have only played one game so far, I have been looking for more challenging sliders than at the All Star level.

I noticed a couple differences between V2 Global and 3.0 Global..... Use what's in 3.0 Global correct?

Or are 3.0 Global meant just for that and supposed to be different?

You can use the 3.0 global for version 2. I’ll fix it.

I know Pitch speeds are user preference. Just curious, does everyone play with them even? I actually keep the offspeed slider a tick higher because dumb me can't read when an off speed pitch and coming and I'll swing ridiculously early.

If you go on 3K Gamings Discord he posted a directional hitting guide that has completely changed hitting for me. It tells you how to use it based you're hitters tendencies. I'm seeing a lot more hit variety.

I know Pitch speeds are user preference. Just curious, does everyone play with them even? I actually keep the offspeed slider a tick higher because dumb me can't read when an off speed pitch and coming and I'll swing ridiculously early.

lol Phillies yes I do too. I’m old…46 in a little over a month and have been fighting going to the eye dr. Go ahead and laugh my son does lol. I have fastball speed at 4 breaking at 5. If I had them even I would be 30 seconds early on all off speed stuff.

I won't call it that, but 100% the cpu seems to get an artificial boost when there are two outs. Not every time, but pretty close. I've learned to never trust the pitcher who got you the first two outs lol

I actually do sometimes if I’m struggling. I actually feel that me personally get better hit variety when I do cause I sometimes am so late on the fastballs I crush the hangers more for HR.

Yes, those rosters work great with our sliders every year. I am going to run a franchise with them. And JWDixon is one of the creators and he uses these sliders. I recommend trying them.

Also, want to give a shutout to JWDixon for all the time and effort making the spreadsheet. That makes franchise 100 times better. And you can choose how much you want to put into it.

The new thing now is the free agent negotiator. You put in the player info like OVR, age, potential, and WAR, it will tell you if that player will be interested in a contract extension before free agency. And then another page will tell you the top 3 teams that player is interested in. If it isn’t your team, you will have to offer him more money.
