The show actually does a very good job of emulating hot and cold streaks in my opinion. I played last night and had 14 hits, so unless there was a patch since then..I’d say you’re slumping.

If that is the case I find it a bit concerning that slumps are tied to the user and not the team. Going to play a few more games this week before I bow out.

Slumps are not tied to the user. They're built in the franchise mode for each team/player.

        K. Well I appreciate the info. I may try to roll with the op to see if I am just on a hot streak. Need to fear the cpu without them being too outrageous

I've been really liking contact and timing at 5 power and solid hits at 6.

However, I can be up 8-0 (most recent game) as the rays over the blue jays. Suddenly the Blue Jays go off for 6 runs and are unstoppable. That is frustrating! But, if it’s at 5/6 then it kinda feels too easy at times. My question is, does anyone get a great challenge from the cpu at 5/6? I may just be experiencing hot pitching in the moment. I wanna kinda hear about your experiences with it at 6/6 versus 5/6 or 6/5. Regardless, legend is the way to go for pitching. Just trying to dial it in

Thank you for the feedback. I’m plugging the op in now and gonna try a few games. Still in testing and have 30 team control so I can try all matchups.

That’s what I thought, and I am fine with that. Just found it strange I’ve suddenly been seeing the same things across multiple games with different teams. If nobody else is seeing an issue then my timing must just be off a tick or something.

Cool just trying to help, are you using the same exact set up as this slider thread? Directional hitting? If you're using different teams and seeing the exact same hitting issues, then it might be something you're doing, and not a team slump.

I think a lot of it was restructured for pvp play. I'm telling you guys to hit on legend with higher contact and solid hits. It's more skill based than HoF. I use 6 contact and 6 solid hits and the only thing I've changed is pitch speed since day 1

I personally like where it’s at on offense. I’m having a great variety of games. I don’t necessarily want it to be more skill based at all. I’d use zone hitting for that tbh. I love that you found a great balance for you on legend though.

This game is completely cooked for me at the moment. Whatever the hell the developers did I really hope they undo it because this game is just not fun at all for me anymore.

Yet another 10+ hit game for the computer, yet they only scored 3 runs, and I am completely incapable of getting more than 5 hits a game.

I was having such a great variety of games before they ****ed everything up.

For hitting would these be ok to use for zone hitting? Last year I used your sliders and they played great. But I know you said to make sure everything is the same. So if I like using zone what if anything would you change or should it be fine. Thanks

I’m not sure to be honest. I’m mostly default so I think it would work perfectly fine honestly.

Everything is the same except I am pitching and hitting on HOF. Like I’ve said in my previous posts, I really don’t know what changed, but it’s like I am playing a completely different game recently.
