Any sliders that are not HOF/Legend difficulty?

I'm curious if there are any out there. I'm not good enough on either side of the ball to ramp up the difficulty that high.

I get as far as Vet+ batting and all-star+ on pitching. I'm just trying to find a good set.

I also saw your post in the No Walks thread. It does seem like the CPU throws more balls when you use higher difficulties. My theory is that it's because the CPU will throw more hittable pitches making it easier to hit and less prone to strike out swinging.

So, I guess one of the real questions is what kind of difficulties are you having? I'm thinking if you at least bumped up to HOF you could adjust the sliders to help overcome the issues that you're having.

Steve who does sliders with me uses Allstar hitting himself. He uses 5/5/0/5 for the hitting sliders with Allstar. You can try that if you want.

I normally use Dynamic and that's about where I fall in terms of batting. I get to vet plus, then it's just up and down within that difficulty.

I just dont get hits, that's all I can really say. Most of my contact just goes right to someone it seems. If it's not perfect/perfect, it's a beamer to an outfielder, or a bloop within the infield.

If you wanted to try HOF, you could bump up your Use Contact and Timing and see if that helps. If it doesn't then bump Power and Solid hits. Or try and the suggestion above for All Star. I'm not the greatest hitter in the game either but something about playing on HOF or Legend just feels better.

I believe it is actually "git gud" as you can't forget bad grammar. Lol.

I myself tend to stick with all star. Starting at default then seeing what needs changed. Not there yet as I spend the first few weeks getting my franchise ready.

I've been playing Baseball video games for about 25 years now and I still can't lay off a breaking ball outside the zone. Sometimes "Get Good" never happens lol.

Right now I have only changed a few things on all star. I have set foul frequency to 4, pitch speeds to 6, starter stamina to 6, and wind to 4.

Pitch speed to 6 for me makes all star just a bit harder without going to HoF, which I have had terrible luck on every time I try it. Including last year.

As I play more and if I see more changes are needed, I will go from there.

I’m in the same boat but actually did the opposite. Stayed on HOF but lowered pitch speeds to 4. I really like the way the CPU pitches on HOF and I can actually pull a FB, with pitch speeds at 4 lol. It also allows me to be more patient and not swing literally every single pitch.

I always thought you and I had the same approach to sliders. The above changes are essentially what I have planned as well.

I set up All-Star and did some mixing and matching. Only changed timing to 6, foul frequency to 4, and from another HOF set I implemented their fielding changes such as throwing errors etc. Hope it takes away the automation.

I’m using all star hitting the only change i have is solid hits up to 6 and foul balls down to 4. There’s wayyyy too much weak contact in the game this year.
