if you are looking to start a season late, or getting burned out on DD, I have hit upon a set that has been giving me fantastic results. Hit type distribution, scoring distribution, and BABIP have been more aligned than ever, so I wanted to share these with the community in case somebody wants to give them a go. Feel free to hit me up with any questions. These are located in the vault as FENWAYMAC LEGEND
For general settings it is really up to you other than these recommendations:
Zone batting interface
Legend Hitting and Fielding
Button Accuracy throwing (I REALLY recommend this for increasing errors/challenge/sense of achievement for having a clean slate
Pinpoint pitching
I also highly recommend doing 30-team control, but not necessary.
Lastly, I would suggest using a vault roster set. I personally use the 2024 Fidelity rosters. This group spent a lot of time tweaking ratings, and I can totally feel the difference in the outcomes and stats. More simulation, less juiced hitting.
