TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
    Game #4 of the Season
Boston Red Sox (2-1) @ Texas Rangers (1-2)
Pitching Matchup – Richard Fitts (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs Jacob deGrom (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

    RECAP
The Red Sox got back to back HR as Alex Bregman hit a 2-run shot to CF and Triston Casas followed with a 430 foot bomb to RF in the top of the 1st off Jacob deGrom to take a quick 3-0 lead. Richard Fitts was pitching well early but Texas would get on the board in the bottom of the 2nd when Jonah Heim dropped a blooper into shallow LF for a 2 out RBI single and we would head to the 3rd inning with Boston leading 3-1. The score remained 3-1 until the top of the 5th when Bruce Bochy lifted deGrom after a lead off single by Jarren Duran and brought on Hoby Milner who struck out Devers before Bregman doubled and Casas followed with a RBI single scoring Duran to make it 4-1 but Bregman was thrown out trying to score. The Red Sox loaded the bases with 2 outs for Connor Wong dropped a soft liner into CF for a RBI single scoring a pair of runs to extend the lead to 6-1. Fitts struck out Marcus Semien for his 5th K of the game to end the 5th and send the game to the 6th inning with the Red Sox leading 6-1. Fitts recorded his 6th K to finish his outing by striking out Adolis Garcia to end the 6th sending the game to the 7th inning with Boston leading 6-1. Greg Weissert took over on the mound to begin the bottom of the 7th and the Rangers would load the bases with 1 out and Marcus Semien would knock in a run with a sac fly to RF scoring Burger to make it 6-2 and bring up Corey Seager with 2 outs. Alex Cora brought in left-hander Justin Wilson to face Seager and Wilson would get out of the inning as Seager flew out to Rafaela in CF stranding a pair and we would go to the 8th inning with the Red Sox leading 6-2. The Red Sox answered with a run in the top of the 8th on a RBI double down the RF line by Duran while Wilson returned to the mound and pitched a scoreless bottom of the 8th sending the game to the 9th inning with the Red Sox leading 7-2. Shawn Armstrong pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 9th for Texas and the Rangers would come up to bat in the bottom of the 9th trailing 7-2 with Justin Slaten coming on to pitch for Boston. Josh Smith got things started for the Rangers in the bottom of the 9th with a liner in the gap for a lead off triple and Jonah Heim followed with a RBI sac fly to CF making it 7-3 with 1 out. Leody Taveras and Marcus Semien found holes for back to back singles putting two men on with 1 out and suddenly things were getting a little tense for the Red Sox. Corey Seager would battle Slaten to a full count before hitting a ground ball up the middle for a RBI single making it 7-4 and bringing the tying run to the plate as Wyatt Langford stepped to the plate with runners on the corners and 1 out. Aroldis Chapman was ready in the bullpen as Cora stuck with Slaten to face Langford but it's likely that we will see Chapman unless Slaten gets a double play to end the game preventing Pederson from getting to the plate. Langford hit a soft liner that was just out of the reach of the leaping attempt by Hamilton at shortstop as Semien scores on a RBI single by Langford to cut the Red Sox lead to 7-5 and bring up Joc Pederson with 1 out and two men on base. Cora would come out to get Slaten and bring in Aroldis Chapman who comes in to a tough spot with the tying run on base and 1 out. Chapman would record a huge K as he struck out Pederson looking on a nasty slider that froze Pederson and the Rangers were down to their final out with Adolis Garcia coming up. Chapman would close it out by striking out Garcia on a splitter as he comes on and records back to back Ks to finish it off as the Red Sox hang on after a scare in the 9th to win 7-5 and take 3 out of 4 from the Rangers to open the season

    GAME NOTES
    * The Red Sox take 3 out of 4 from the Rangers to open the season and improve to 3-1 while the Rangers fall to 1-3

    * The Red Sox got off to a fast start with the bats as Alex Bregman hit a 2-run HR to CF for his 1st HR as a member of the Red Sox and Triston Casas followed with a 430 foot blast to RF off deGrom as the Sox went back to back in the top of the 1st inning to jump out to a 3-0 lead

    * The Rangers were led by Josh Smith who went 2 for 3 with a double and a triple while Wyatt Langford went 3 for 5 with a RBI

    * Richard Fitts earned a spot in the rotation to start the season after seizing the opportunity that was created when Brayan Bello and Lucas Giolito suffered minor injuries in camp that delayed their start to the season and Fitts would pitch 6 strong innings allowing 1 run on 6 hits with 6 Ks to earnt he win

    * Jacob deGrom is healthy to begin the season and got the start on the mound for Texas and lasted just 4 innings as Bruce Bochy had a bit of a quick hook and deGrom would take the loss allowing 4 runs on 7 hits while striking out 6

    * Aroldis Chapman came into a tough situation after a rocky bottom of the 9th from Justin Slaten that saw the Rangers score 3 runs and put the tying run on base with 1 out before Chapman came in from the pen and struck out Joc Pederson and Adolis Garcia to record his 2nd save of the season

    * The Red Sox will travel to Baltimore where they will be right back in action tomorrow to begin a 3 game series at Camden Yards agains the Orioles who are also 3-1 on the season and tied with the Red Sox for 1st place in the AL East. Sean Newcomb will be on the mound for Boston making his Red Sox debut while Cade Povich will take the mound for Baltimore in the Orioles home opener

      Re: TNK MLB 25 SLIDERS

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
      Game #5 of the Season
Boston Red Sox (3-1) @ Baltimore Orioles (3-1)
Pitching Matchup – Sean Newcomb (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs Cade Povich (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

The Red Sox are coming off a good start to the season in Texas where they took 3 out of 4 from the Rangers and are in Baltimore to begin a 3 game series with the Orioles who are also 3-1 after they took 3 out of 4 from the Blue Jays to open the season in Toronto. The Orioles are without star shortstop Gunnar Henderson who should join the team in the next few days after he suffered a minor injury in spring training that caused him to miss the first week of the season. Cade Povich gets the start for Baltimore in the Orioles home opener while Sean Newcomb will be making his Red Sox debut after beginning the season as the #5 starter while Brayan Bello and Kutter Crawford work their way back from injuries that have delayed their start to the season

      RECAP
The game was scoreless after 4 innings as Cade Povich and Sean Newcomb were both pitching well and both teams were playing stellar defense as Tyler O'Neill made a diving catch in RF for Baltimore and the Orioles were threatening in the bottom of the 3rd when O'Neill singled to RF but Rob Refsnyder came up firing and made a perfect throw to nail Jackson Holliday at the plate keeping the game scoreless. Povich and Newcomb cruised through the 4th we would head to the 5th inning with the score tied 0-0. Povich retired the side in the top of the 5th and Newcomb matched him retiring the Orioles 1-2-3 and striking out Westburg looking on a filthy back door breaking ball to end the bottom of the 5th sending the game to the 6th inning tied 0-0. Povich pitched another 1-2-3 frame in the top of the 6th while Newcomb recorded two quick outs in the bottom of the inning before Ryan Mountcastle hammered a ball off the wall in RF for a double. Heston Kjerstad was up next and hit the ball hard on a line but Trevor Story made a nice crab to his left to snare the line drive and strand Mountcastle in scoring position as we would head to the 7th inning with the score still tied 0-0. Seranthony Dominguez took over on the mound and pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 7th inning for Baltimore while Newcomb returned to the mound for the bottom of the 7th and recorded 2 quick outs before walking Urias but would finish off an excellent outing by striking out Jackson Holliday and sending the game to the 8th inning still locked in a scoreless tie 0-0. Keegan Akin came on to pitch the top of the 8th and the Red Sox were threatening as Romy Gonzalez smoked a double to LF putting the go ahead run in scoring position with 1 out. Connor Wong grounded out and Gonzalez would advance to third base bringing up Ceddanne Rafaela who grounded out to Urias at third base as Akin escapes the jam and the game remained scoreless. Zack Kelly took over on the mound for Boston in the bottom of the 8th and struck out Westburg before walking Rutschman to put a man on for Baltimore with 1 out. Kelly would get O'Neill to bounce to Bregman at third base to start a 5-4-3 inning ending double play sending the game to the 9th inning locked in a 0-0 tie. Rafael Devers singled on a liner to LF in the top of the 9th but was thrown out trying to stretch it into a double and Akin would get through the frame bringing the Orioles to the plate in the bottom of the 9th with a chance to walk off with the victory if they can score a run as the score remained tied 0-0. Kelly returned to the mound and pitched a scoreless bottom of the 9th for Boston and we would head to extra innings with the score 0-0. Felix Bautista came on to pitch the top of the 10th for Baltimore with Bregman on second base as the extra inning runner but Bautista would strike out the side to keep the score tied 0-0 and give the Orioles a chance to win it in the bottom of the 10th as the speedy Cedric Mullins would start the inning on second base and Brennan Bernardino would come on to pitch for the Red Sox. Bernardino struck out Westburg to end the bottom of the 10th keeping the game going as we moved to the 11th inning tied 0-0. Bautista recorded two outs in the top of the 11th and had two strikes on Ceddanne Rafaela who fouled off a couple pitches to stay alive before hitting a ground ball up the middle for a RBI single as Campbell comes in to score giving the Red Sox a 1-0 lead. Yennier Cano replaced Bautista and recorded the final out and we would head to the bottom of the 11th with the Red Sox leading 1-0. The Orioles caught a break as Bernardino threw a wild pitch to Rutschman allowing Westburg to advance to third base with nobody out and Rutschman would punch a ground ball over the first base bag for a RBI single tying the game 1-1. Garrett Whitlock replaced Bernardino on the mound with nobody out and the potential winning run on first base. O'Neill punched a ground ball through the right side for a single putting two men on with nobody out and the winning run was now in scoring position. Ryan Mountcastle would sac bunt the runners up and the Orioles now had runners on 2nd & 3rd with 1 out and Alex Cora called for an intentional walk of Kjerstad to load the bases and give the Sox a chance at a double play. Ramon Laureano stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and 1 out with a chance to be the hero and would battle Whitlock to a full count but Whitlock would freeze him with a slider for a huge K for the 2nd out bringing up Mullins. Whitlock would throw a sinker that stayed over the plate and Mullins would hit a deep drive to RF that carried over the head to Refsnyder and off the wall as Rutschman trotted home with the winning run to give the Orioles a thrilling 2-1 walk off victory in 11 innings

      GAME NOTES
      * The pitching was excellent for both teams as the game was scoreless through 9 innings and we would head to extra innings where the Orioles would win their home opener 2-1 in 11 innings on a walk off hit from Cedric Mullins

      * The Red Sox fall to 3-2 while the Orioles improve to 4-1 on the season

      * Cedric Mullins was the hero for Baltimore as he went 1 for 5 but came through with a liner off the wall in RF for the walk off RBI single in the bottom of the 11th

      * Ceddanne Rafael went 2 for 4 and drove in the only run with a RBI single in the top of the 11th

      * Sean Newcomb made the start on the mound for Boston and the Massachusetts native pitched very well in his Red Sox debut throing 7 shutout innings allowing no runs on 6 hits with 1 walk & 6Ks earning a no decision

      * Cade Povich got the the start on the mound for Baltimore and pitched 6 shutout innings holding the Red Sox to just 2 hits with 1 walk & 7 Ks but did not factor in the decision

      * The Red Sox and Orioles will have the day off tomorrow before playing the 2nd game of this 3 game series at Camden Yards. Garrett Crochet will be on the mound for Boston looking to get the Sox back on track while Zach Eflin gets the start for Baltimore

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
        Game #6 of the Season
Boston Red Sox (3-2) @ Baltimore Orioles (4-1)
Pitching Matchup – Garrett Crochet (1-0, 4.26 ERA) vs Zach Eflin (0-0, 2.57 ERA)

        RECAP
The Red Sox loaded the bases with 1 out in the top of the 1st but failed to score as Zach Eflin would escape the early jam as he struck out Trevor Story and got Wilyer Abreu to fly out to end the threat. Tyler O'Neill doubled off Garrett Crochet to put runners on 2nd & 3rd with 1 out in the bottom of the 1st but Crochet would retire Mountcastle and Laureano on shallow fly balls as both teams blow chances to score and both pitchers escape danger in the 1st inning to keep the game scoreless. The Red Sox opened the scoring in the top of the 3rd when Eflin left a sinker up and over the plate and Alex Bregman launched a solo HR to LF giving Boston a 1-0 lead. Ramon Laureano was thrown out trying to steal second base on a strong throw by Connor Wong to end the bottom of the 4th and we would head to the 5th inning with Boston leading 1-0. Jorge Mateo led off the bottom of the 5th with a single for Baltimore and stole second base to move into scoring position with nobody out. Crochet retired Mullins and Westburg before Adley Rutschman came through with 2 outs when he hit a ball back up the middle into CF for a RBI single tying the game 1-1. Tyler O'Neill hit a fly ball high and deep to LF for what looked like it might be a 2-run HR but Jarren Duran would make the catch on the warning track for the final out sending the game to the 6th inning tied at 1-1. Wilyer Abreu doubled with 2 outs in the top of the 6th and Kristian Campbell crushed a ball deep down the LF line that just hooked foul missing what would have been a 2-run HR by inches and Campbell would hit the next pitch hard on the ground up the middle but Jordan Westburg would make a spectacular diving stop and quickly hopped up and threw out Campbell at first base taking away what would have been a RBI single and ending the top of the 6th with the score still tied 1-1. Crochet did not have his best stuff tonight but pitched another scoreless frame in the bottom of the 6th striking out Gary Sanchez to send the game to the 7th inning with the score even at 1-1. Seranthony Dominguez replaced Eflin on the mound for Baltimore and pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 7th while Crochet was at 80 pitches as he returned for the bottom of the 7th and recorded 2 outs before Westburg singled up the middle to put two men on with 2 outs for Adley Rutschman and that would be all for Crochet who was running out of gas as Alex Cora came out and made the call for Justin Slaten out of the bullpen to face Rutschman in a big at bat. Rutschman swung at the first pitch from Slaten and hit a ground ball that got past Slaten and up the middle for a RBI single as Mateo scored to give the Orioles a 2-1 lead. Slaten came back to strikeout O'Neill looking to end the inning with no further damage and we would go to the 8th inning with Baltimore now leading 2-1. Keegan Akin came on to pitch the top of the 8th for Baltimore and Rafael Devers led off with a blooper that dropped in down the LF and Devers would wind up at second base with a lead off double. Bregman grounded out to the right side allowing Devers to advance to third base with 1 out. Triston Casas was up next and he would drive a ball in the opposite field gap in left-center just out of reach of the diving attempt by Laureano for a RBI double tying the game at 2-2. Romy Gonzalez came on as a pinch runner for Casas at second base representing the go ahead run. Akin struck out Trevor Story for a huge K bringing up Wilyer Abreu with 2 outs and Abreu would deliver with two strikes as he stayed on a slider from Akin and hit a liner into LF for a RBI single as Gonzalez raced home and slid in safely just beating the throw from Laureano to the plate with the go ahead run giving the Red Sox a 3-2 lead. Yennier Cano replaced Akin on the mound and struck out Kristian Campbell to end the top of the 8th but the Red Sox now held a 3-2 lead. Slaten returned to the mound and retired the side in order on 3 fly ball outs in the bottom of the 8th to send the game to the 9th inning with Boston leading 3-2. Ceddanne Rafaela singled with 1 out in the top of the 9th and would move into scoring position on a ground out by Duran bringing up Rafael Devers with 2 outs and a man in scoring position. Devers came through with a clutch RBI single up the middle scoring Rafaela with a big insurance run to extend the Boston lead to 4-2. Alex Bregman was up next and was looking for a first pitch fastball from Cano and he jumped all over it launching it deep to LF for his 2nd HR of the night on a 2-run HR to make it 6-2. Romy Gonzalez drove a ball deep to RF but O'Neill would race back and make a leaping catch before crashing into the wall for a great play in RF to end the frame and send the game to the bottom of the 9th where the Orioles would come up to hit needing a big inning as they now find themselves trailing 6-2 after the Red Sox opened things up a bit in the top of the 9th. Greg Weissert was on to pitch for Boston and gave up a lead off single to Urias before retiring Mateo on a fly ball to Duran in LF for the 1st out. Cedric Mullins singled to CF and suddenly the Orioles had two men on with 1 out and the top of the order coming up. Aroldis Chapman was warming in the Red Sox bullpen and ready to come in should anybody else reach base for Baltimore. Weissert settled down after a mound visit and he would locate a fastball low and away getting Westburg to hit the ball on the ground to Bregman at third base who fired to Campbell at second to start a game ending 5-4-3 double play and the Red Sox win 6-2 to even the series at one game each

        GAME NOTES
        * The Orioles and Red Sox were tied 1-1 in the 7th inning when Baltimore took the lead on a RBI single by Adley Rutschman but Boston would answer with a RBI double from Triston Casas and a RBI single by Wilyer Abreu in the top of the 8th to take a 3-2 lead. Justin Slaten locked it down in the bottom of the 8th and Alex Bregman would hit his 2nd HR of the night in the top of the 9th to open up a 6-2 lead and Greg Weissert slammed the door in the bottom of the 9th as the Red Sox win 6-2 setting up a rubber match tomorrow

        * The Red Sox improve to 4-2 while the Orioles drop to 4-2

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
          Game #7 of the Season
Boston Red Sox (4-2) @ Baltimore Orioles (4-2)
Pitching Matchup – Tanner Houck (0-0, 9.64 ERA) vs Charlie Morton (1-0, 1.29 ERA)

          RECAP
Charlie Morton and Tanner Houck were pitching well early and the game remained scoreless until the bottom of the 4th when Tyler O'Neill came up with a man on and 2 outs battling Houck to a full count before Houck came inside with a cutter and O'Neill was able to drive it high and deep to left-center as Ceddanne Rafaela raced back but could only look up as the ball came down over the wall for a 2-run HR giving the Orioles a 2-0 lead. The Red Sox got on the board with two outs in the top of the 5th when Rafaela singled, stole second base and came in to score on a two out RBI single by Jarren Duran making it 2-1. Houck retired the side in the bottom of the 5th and both Morton and Houck would pitch scoreless frames in the 6th to send the game to the 7th inning with Baltimore leading 2-1. Seranthony Dominguez came on to pitch and retired the Sox in order in the top of the 7th while Houck returned to the mound and gave up a single to Heston Kjerstad with 2 outs bringing Alex Cora out of the dugout and he would bring in Zack Kelly to replace Houck on the mound. Kelly would retire Ryan Mountcastle sending the game to the 8th inning with the Orioles leading 2-1. Bryan Baker came on to pitch the top of the 8th and struck out Carlos Narvaez and Rafaela for two quick outs before Duran flew out to CF ending the frame with the score still 2-1. Kelly returned for the bottom of the 8th worked around a lead off single by Jackson Holliday to retire the side ending the 8th inning with the Orioles leading 2-1. Felix Bautista would make his way in looking to close it out and record the save for Baltimore with the Red Sox coming up to bat in the top of the 9th trailing 2-1 with Devers, Bregman and Casas due up for Boston. Rafael Devers hit a ground ball through the right side for a lead off single but Bautista would get Alex Bregman to fly out to CF for the 1st out. Triston Casas would come to the plate and rip a rocket up the middle for a single putting two men on for Trevor Story with 1 out. Story flew out to Mullins in CF and the Red Sox were down to their final out with Wilyer Abreu coming up. Abreu would line a ball up the middle for a RBI single as Devers scored to tie the game 2-2 and Brandon Hyde came out of the Orioles dugout and removed Bautista bringing in Gregory Soto to face Kristian Campbell with the go ahead run in scoring position at second base and Romy Gonzalez would come on to run for Casas. Campbell hit a ground ball to the left side that Holliday would get to but all runners were safe and Boston had the bases loaded with 2 outs and Narvaez coming to the plate. Narvaez came through as Soto located a sinker low and away but Narvaez was able to punch a soft liner into RF for a RBI single knocking in Gonzalez and Abreu to give the Red Sox a 4-2 lead. Rafaela would fly out to O'Neill in RF to end the frame but the Red Sox strike for 3 runs to take a 4-2 lead and Aroldis Chapman would come on to pitch the bottom of the 9th for Boston looking to close it out and record the save. Chapman got Westburg to ground out and followed by striking out Ryan O'Hearn looking at a 98 mph fastball and the Orioles were down to their final out. Tyler O'Neill stepped up to the plate and Chapman would end the game by striking out O'Neill swinging at a 100 mph fastball to finish off a 4-2 Red Sox victory

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
              Game #8 of the Season
St Louis Cardinals (2-4) @ Boston Red Sox (5-2)
Pitching Matchup – Erick Fedde (0-1, 7.20 ERA) vs Walker Buehler (0-0, 6.35 ERA)

The Red Sox are off to a 5-2 start to the season after a successful season opening 7 game road trip and the Sox will host the St Louis Cardinals for their home opener at Fenway Park. Walker Buehler gets the start in the home opener for Boston making his first appearance at Fenway as a member of the Red Sox while Erick Fedde takes the mound for St Louis

              RECAP
The game was scoreless after 2 innings before the Cardinals opened the scoring in the top of the 3rd on a RBI double by Lars Nootbar and a RBI single from Brendan Donovan to give St Louis a 2-0 lead. The Cardinals would extend the lead in the top of the 4th on a sac fly from Nootbar picking up his 2nd RBI of the day. Erick Fedde was in command on the mound for St Louis as he has kept the Red Sox bats quiet and would get Triston Casas to ground into a 6-4-3 inning ending double play in the bottom of the 4th sending the game to the 5th inning with the Cardinals leading 3-0. Buehler would get through a scoreless the top of the 5th while Fedde continued to keep the Red Sox hitters off balance and retired the side in order in the bottom of the 5th sending the game to the 6th inning with St Louis leading 3-0. Buehler was done for the day after gutting his way through 5 innings throwing 97 pitches and recording 7 Ks as Cooper Criswell took over on the mound to begin the top of the 6th for Boston and pitched a 1-2-3 inning keeping the score 3-0. Fedde retired the first two batters in the bottom of the 6th before Jarren Duran singled and Rafael Devers drew a walk to put two men on for Alex Bregman with 2 outs. Bregman hit a towering fly ball to left-center off the green monster for extra bases as Duran scored but Devers tried to come all the way around from first base but was gunned down at the plate to end the inning and we would go to the 7th inning with St Louis leading 3-1. The Cardinals put runners on the corners with 2 outs in the top of the 7th but Criswell would escape the jam as Ivan Herrera flew out to Wilyer Abreu who made a nice catch on the run in RF to end the frame with the score still 3-1. Fedde returned to the mound for the bottom of the 7th and retired the side in order sending the game to the 8th inning with the Cardinals leading 3-1. Justin Wilson came on to pitch the top of the 8th and recorded 2 Ks in a scoreless inning of work and we would head to the bottom of the 8th with Ryan Fernandez taking over for Fedde on the mound for St Louis. Kristian Campbell led off the bottom of the 8th with a rocket up the middle for a lead off single and Connor Wong followed with a ball hit through the left side into LF for a single and the Red Sox quickly had two men on with nobody out against Fernandez. Ceddanne Rafaela was up next and he jumped on a 95 mph first pitch fastball and smoked a liner in the gap for a RBI double scoring both Campbell and Wong to tie the game 3-3. Rafaela was on second base representing the potential go ahead run with nobody out and the top of the order coming up and Fernandez would depart as left-hander Jojo Romero came in from the pen with lefties Jarren Duran and Rafael Devers due up next. Duran stepped to the plate with Rafael Devers on deck and would foul off a couple tough two strike pitches to stay alive before going opposite way and dropping a liner into LF for a RBI single as Rafaela scored to put Boston up 4-3 but Duran was thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. Romero would record back to back Ks of Devers and Bregman to end the 8th and send the game to the 9th inning with the Red Sox now leading 4-3. The Cardinals would have their big bats coming up in the top of the 9th with Contreras, Donovan and Arenado due up against Red Sox closer Aroldis Chapman who was on to pitch for Boston looking to close it out and record the save. Willson Contreras hit a routine fly ball to Abreu in RF for the 1st out before Chapman struck out Brendan Donovan on a slider and the Cardinals were quickly down to their final out. Nolan Arenado stepped into the box and hit a ground ball to Campbell at second base who fielded it cleanly and made the throw to Casas for the final out as the Red Sox come from behind to win their home opener 4-3

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                  Game #9 of the Season
St Louis Cardinals (2-5) @ Boston Red Sox (6-2)
Pitching Matchup – Andre Pallante (0-0, 2.35 ERA) vs Sean Newcomb (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

                  RECAP
The Red Sox opened the scoring in the bottom of the 1st when Alex Bregman launched a solo HR into the green monster seats in LF giving Boston a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals answered in the top of the 3rd when Masyn Winn crushed a fastball from Newcomb 412 feet for a solo HR to LF tying the game 1-1. St Louis took the lead in the top of the 4th on a RBI double by Pedro Pages giving the Cardinals a 2-1 lead. The Cardinals opened things up in the top of the 5th as Lars Nootbar double to lead off the inning followed by a RBI single from Willson Contreras to make it 3-1 and Brendan Donovan lined a ball into the RF corner for a RBI double as Contreras scores to make it 4-1. Newcomb was having command issues and failed to get through the top of the 5th after walking Jordan Walker to load the bases and the Cardinals had a chance to blow the game wide open as Pedro Pages stepped in with 1 out for Pedro Pages. Greg Weissert came in from the pen to replace Newcomb on the mound and Pages would hit a rocket back up the middle that Weissert knocked down and only had a play at first base as Donovan scores making it 5-1. Victor Scott came through with a big RBI double on a ground ball down the line into LF scoring a pair to extend the lead to 7-1. Weissert retired Masyn Winn for the final out but the Cardinals bat around sending 9 men to the plate and putting 5 runs on the board to blow the game open and give St Louis a 7-1 lead. Pallante made quick work of the Red Sox in the bottom of the 5th and we would go to the 6th inning with the Red Sox trailing 7-1 and Brennan Bernardino came on and pitched a 1-2-3 frame while Pallante retired the side in the bottom of the 6th sending the game to the 7th winning with the Cardinals leading 7-1. Bernardino pitched another scoreless frame in the top of the 7th while Phil Maton took over for Pallante to begin the bottom of the 7th and retired the Sox in order as the Red Sox have managed just 2 hits in the game and we would head to the 8th inning with the score still 7-1. Bernardino pitched another scoreless frame in the top of the 8th and Maton pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 8th to send us to the 9th with St Louis leading 7-1 and Cooper Criswell coming on to pitch for Boston. Criswell allowed the first two batters to reach before getting Nolan Arenado to ground into a double play and striking out Baker to end the threat with the score still 7-1. John King came on to pitch the bottom of the 9th for St Louis and walked Jarren Duran to lead off the inning. Alex Bregman doubled with 1 out and Duran came in to score on a RBI ground out by Triston Casas making it 7-2 and the Red Sox were down to their final out. Trevor Story made it 7-3 with a RBI single bringing up Rob Refsnyder who smoked a line drive but it was hit right at XXXX who made the catch to end the ball game as the Cardinals win 7-3

                  GAME NOTES

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                    Game #10 of the Season
St Louis Cardinals (3-5) @ Boston Red Sox (6-3)
Pitching Matchup – Miles Mikolas (0-0, 1.35 ERA) vs Hunter Dobbins (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

                    RECAP
Hunter Dobbins and Miles Mikolas each retired the first 3 men they faced cruising through a quick 1st inning before St Louis got back to back singles from Nolan Arenado and Alec Burleson and a walk by Ivan Herrera to begin the top of the 2nd loading the bases with nobody out. Jordan Walker hit a liner into RF for a RBI single and Victor Scott followed with a RBI single to CF scoring a pair of runs as 5 straight Cardinals have reached base to start the top of the 2nd giving St Louis a 3-0 lead. Dobbins would settle down after a mound visit and retire the next 3 hitters to minimize the damage and prevent the Cardinals from blowing the game wide open as the score remained 3-0. Boston threatened after a Connor Wong double put two men in scoring position in the bottom of the 2nd but Mikolas would escape the jam getting David Hamilton to fly out to end the inning. St Louis continued to swing the bats in the top of the 3rd as RBI doubles from Alec Burleson and Jordan Walker made it 5-0. Mikolas was through 3 innings on the mound for St Louis and the Cardinals would add another run in the top of the 4th on a RBI single by Brendan Donovan making it 6-0. Zack Kelly took over for Dobbins who exited after 4 tough innings and the Cardinals would add to the lead in the top of the 5th with RBI singles by Victor Scott and Masyn Winn extending the lead to 8-0. Mikolas continued to pitch well and the Sox would hit a couple deep drives in the bottom of the 6th that were knocked down by the wind and caught on the warning track *** Mikolas was through 6 shutout innings having scattered 3 hits and we would go to the 7th inning with St Louis leading 8-0. Kelly and Greg Weissert combined to pitch a scoreless top of the 7th and Boston would get back to back singles by Kristian Campbell and Connor Wong with 2 outs putting runners on the corners in the bottom of the 7th. David Hamilton would pop out to Herrera in foul ground behind home plate to end the threat as the Red Sox strand a pair and the score remained 8-0 after 7 innings. Weissert would get Burleson to ground into a 3-6-3 double play to end the top of the 8th while Kyle Leahy would come on to pitch for St Louis taking over for Mikolas who pitched 7 shutout innings and Leahy retired the side in order to send the game to the 9th inning with the Cardinals up 8-0. Weissert and Justin Wilson combined to pitch a scoreless top of the 9th and Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley would come on to pitch the bottom of the 9th despite the 8 run lead as Helsley needed to get some work. Helsley retired Bregman on a fly ball for the 1st out before striking out Casas to bring Wilyer Abreu and he would fly out to Walker in deep RF for the final out as the Cardinals defeat the Red Sox 8-0 and take 2 out of 3 from the Sox in Boston

Pitching Matchup – Jose Berrios (1-0, 5.16 ERA) vs Richard Fitts (0-0, 1.5.00 ERA)

                      RECAP
The game was scoreless after 2 innings as both Richard Fitts and Jose Berrios were both pitching well early. The Blue Jays got singles from Nathan Lukes and Myles Straw before Bo Bichette drew a walk loading the bases in the top of the 3rd. Fitts left a splitter over the plate to Vladimir Guerrero who launched it over the green monster for a grand slam HR giving the Blue Jays a 4-0 lead. Boston got on the board in the top of the 5th when David Hamilton went opposite field for a solo HR into the green monster seats making it 4-1. The score remained 4-1 into the bottom of the 7th inning where Anthony Santander made it 5-1 with a RBI single off Whitlock but he was gunned down trying to stretch it into a double ending the frame. The Red Sox threatened in the bottom of the 8th against Erik Swanson as Alex Bregman crushed a ball that hooked foul down the LF line just missing a 2-run HR before settling for a single putting two men on with 1 out. Trevor Story singled into LF with 2 outs to load the bases for Wilyer Abreu bringing the tying run to the plate. Brendon Little came on to replace Swanson on the mound and pitch to Abreu in a huge spot with the bases loaded and 2 outs as Blue Jays manager John Schneider went for the lefty-lefty matchup. Alex Cora would counter by bringing in Romy Gonzalez who mashes left handed pitching to pinch hit for Abreu. Gonzalez and Little would battle to a full count before Gonzalez hit a ground ball up the middle for a RBI single that scored two runs but Story would get thrown out on the base path to end the inning but Boston scores a pair of runs to cut the Blue Jays lead to 5-3 heading to the 9th inning. Whitlock and Josh Winckowski combined to pitch a scoreless top of the 9th and the Red Sox would come up to bat in the bottom of the 9th trailing 5-3. Blue Jays closer Jeff Hoffman was unavailable and Chad Green would come on to try and close it out for Toronto with Wong, Hamilton and Rafaela due up for Boston. Wong hit a hard ground ball to the left side that was knocked down by Wagner at third base and Wong would be safe at first with an infield single and the Red Sox would bring the tying run to the plate with nobody out. Green had two strikes on Hamilton before coming inside and hitting him with a pitch to put two men on with nobody out. Ceddanne Rafaela was up next and Green would get him to ground into a huge 5-4-3 double play for two big outs and just like that the Red Sox were down to their final out. Rob Refsnyder stepped in with Rafael Devers lurking in the on deck circle but Refsnyder would go down swinging as Green strikes him out to end the ball game as the Blue Jays win 5-3

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                        Game #12 of the Season
Toronto Blue Jays (7-4) @ Boston Red Sox (6-5)
Pitching Matchup – Easton Lucas (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs Garrett Crochet (1-0, 3.46 ERA)

                        RECAP
The game was scoreless through 3 innings as Easton Lucas and Garrett Crochet were both sharp early. The Blue Jays would get open the scoring in the top of the 4th on a RBI single by Bo Bichette who would also come around to score on a RBI double by George Springer giving Toronto a 2-0 lead. The Red Sox bats have been struggling the past few games and Lucas would work around his 3rd walk of the night to pitch another scoreless frame in the bottom of the 4th as the Red Sox were still without a hit and we would head to the 5th inning with the Blur Jays leading 2-0. Crochet struck out Vladimir Guerrero on a 98 mph fastball to end the top of the 5th while Lucas retired the first two batters in the bottom of the 5th before Carlos Narvaez hit a ground ball back up the middle for the 1st hit of the night for Boston. Lucas would get Jarren Duran to ground out to Gimenez sending the game to the 6th inning with Toronto holding a 2-0 lead. The Blue Jays added a run in the top of the 6th when Anthony Santander launched a solo HR into the green monster seats in left-center making it 3-0 while Lucas was replaced on the mound to begin the bottom of the 6th by Yariel Rodriguez who struck out Devers to begin the frame before Alex Bregman hammered a rocket high off the green monster for a 1 out double. Rob Refsnyder followed with a drive down the RF line that bounced over the wall for a RBI ground rule double cutting the Blue Jays lead to 3-1. Rodriguez managed to get out of the inning with no further damage as he retired Trevor Story on a routine fly ball for the 2nd out before Wilyer Abreu absolutely smoked a ball on a line to deep CF but Myles Straw would tracked it well and made a nice catch on the run to take extra bases away from Abreu and prevent a run from scoring as we would head to the 7th inning with Toronto leading 3-1. Crochet remained in the ball game and recorded 2 quick outs in the top of the 7th before Andres Gimenez singled and Myles Straw dropped a blooper in down the RF line that hopped into the crowd for a ground rule double putting runners on 2nd & 3rd with 2 outs and setting up a huge at bat with Vladimir Guerrero coming to the plate. Alex Cora came out to the mound to get Crochet and made the move to bring on Josh Winckowski to face Guerrero in a big spot. Guerrero would foul off a couple tough two strike pitches to stay alive before hitting the ball on the ground down the third base line but Bregman would make a nice play ranging to his right and made a strong throw across the diamond to retire Guerrero and end the threat as the Blue Jays strand a pair in scoring position and we would move to the bottom of the 7th with Toronto leading 3-1. Yimi Garcia was on to pitch for the Jays and battled to a full count with Kristian Campbell who fouled off a couple tough pitches to stay alive before getting a good pitch to hit and lining a rocket off the green monster for a lead off double. Garcia came right back with a big K of Romy Gonzalez for the 1st out before Carlos Narvaez drew a walk to put two men on and Blue Jays manager John Schneider would come out to get Garcia and bring in left-hander Brendon Little with a pair of lefties due up as Jarren Duran was coming up with Rafael Devers on deck. Duran hit a ball towards the gap in left-center but Davis Schneider showed good ranger getting the to ball and making the catch as the runners stayed put at first & second base with Devers stepping to the plate with 2 outs. The crowd at Fenway was on their feet and getting loud as the Red Sox struggling offense desperately needs someone to come through and deliver a big hit and the crowd appeared to be getting to Little as he would fall behind putting Devers in a hitters count. Little would battle back to a full count and the runners were on the move as Devers smoked a rocket up the middle into CF for a RBI single as Campbell scored cutting the deficit to 3-2. Alex Bregman was up next and Little tried to come in with a 95 mph cutter on the hands but the ball stayed the plate and Bregman would absolutely crush it to straight away CF right where the green monster connects with the CF wall just missing a HR by an inch or two as Narvaez scored the tying run and Devers motored all the way around from first base sliding in safely as Bregman comes up with a huge two-run RBI double to give Boston a 4-3 lead and send the crowd at Fenway into a frenzy. Little would intentionally walk Refsnyder and Schneider would bring in Nick Sandlin to replace Little on the mound with Trevor Story coming up with two men on and 2 outs. Story would hit a deep drive to CF but Straw would get back and make the catch on the warning track to end the inning but we would move to the 8th with the Red Sox now leading 4-3. Winckowski returned to the mound to start the top of the 8th with Justin Slaten and Justin Wilson both warming in the pen but they were not needed as Winckowski made quick work of the Blue Jays retiring Santander and Bichette on fly balls for 2 quick outs before Clement hit the ball hard on the ground to the left side where Story would make a great play in the hole and a strong throw to get Clement for the 3rd out ending the top of the 8th. Boston came up to bat in the bottom of the 8th with Aroldis Chapman getting warm in the Boston bullpen as he prepares to enter in a save situation and Sandlin would pitch a scoreless bottom of the 8th to send the game to the 9th inning with Chapman coming on looking to close it out and bring the Red Sox 3 game losing streak to an end. The Blue Jays come up in the top of the 9th trailing 4-3 with Springer, Schneider and Heineman due up. Springer hit a hard ground ball to Campbell at second base who made the play to retire Springer for the 1st out and Daulton Varsho would come on to pinch hit for Davis Schneider with 1 out. Varsho would bounce to Gonzalez at first base who took it to the bag himself and the Blue Jays were down to their final out with Tyler Heineman stepping to the plate. Heineman battled to a full count and fouled off a couple 99 mph fastballs before Chapman ran another 99 mph heater in on the hands and Heineman would pop up to Gonzalez on the right side of the infield for the final out as Chapman records his 5th save and the Red Sox snap their 3 game skid with a 4-3 victory over the Blue Jays

                        GAME NOTES
                        * The Red Sox offense has been very quiet over the last 4 days and has been the biggest factor in their 3 game losing streak as the Red Sox were trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the 7th when the bats finally came alive as Boston would get a RBI single from Devers and a two run RBI double from Bregman to take a 4-3 lead. Josh Winckowski and Aroldis Chapman slammed the door in the 8th & 9th to preserve a big 4-3 win for Boston

                        * The Red Sox snap their 3 game losing streak and improve to 7-5 while the Blue Jays fall to 7-5 on the season

                        * Alex Bregman had the big hit for Boston driving in 2 runs with a deep drive to CF just missing a HR by inches with a huge RBI double to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 4-3 lead. Bregman finished the night 2 for 4 with 2 double & 2 RBI and is now hitting .288 with 4 HR, 7 Doubles & 11 RBI in his first 12 games ina Red Sox uniform

                        * Anthony Santander had a big night for Toronto going 3 for 4 with a double, HR & 1 RBI and Santander is now hitting .283 with 4 HR & 11 RBI on the season. Andres Gimenez also went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and is now hitting .273 on the season for the Jays

                        * Garrett Crochet pitched 6.2 innings allowing 3 runs on 9 hits with 6 Ks and earned a no decision for Boston

                        * Easton Lucas was making his first appearance of the season as he got the start for Toronto and was excellent although he only lasted 5 innings but held the Red Sox to 0 runs on just 1 hit with 3 walks & 4 Ks and was in line for the win before the Red Sox came from behind in the late innings

                        * The Red Sox and Blue Jays will play the 3rd game of this 4 game series tomorrow after splitting the first 2 games of the series at Fenway Park. Tanner Houck will take the mound for the Red Sox tomorrow night while Kevin Gausman gets the start for Toronto

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                          Game #13 of the Season
Toronto Blue Jays (7-5) @ Boston Red Sox (7-5)
Pitching Matchup – Kevin Gausman (1-1, 3.21 ERA) vs Tanner Houck (0-0, 5.56 ERA)

                          RECAP
Jarren Duran got the Red Sox offense started on just the 3rd pitch of the night from Kevin Gausman who threw a splitter that stayed up and over the plate and Duran hooked it around the Pesky Pole in RF for a solo HR giving the Red Sox A 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st. Tanner Houck cruised through his first 2 innings of work before the Blue Jays threatened with two men on and nobody out in the top of the 3rd only for Houck to bounce back and strand the pair keeping it 1-0. Gausman and Houck were both pitching well and the score remained 1-0 into the bottom of the 4th where Connor Wong hit a deep drive to LF with 2 outs sending Lukes back to the wall where he would leap and make an excellent catch to take extra bases away from Wong and perhaps save a run. Houck pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 5th while Gausman retired the side in order in the bottom of the 5th sending the game to the 6th inning with Boston leading 1-0. The Blue Jays threatened in the top of the 6th after a Kristian Campbell throwing error put a man in scoring position with 1 out but Houck would get Vladimir Guerrero to fly out to Abreu in RF and then struck out Anthony Santander looking on a back door sweeper to end the frame with the score still 1-0. The Red Sox extended the lead when Rafael Devers led off the bottom of the 6th by turning on an inside fastball from Gausman and launching it into the Toronto bullpen for a solo HR making it 2-0. Gausman retired the next 3 batters and we would move to the 7th inning with the Red Sox leading 2-0. George Springer singled with 1 out and stole second base before Wil Wagner hit a ground ball up the middle for a RBI single scoring Springer to cut the deficit to 2-1. Red Sox pitching coach Andrew Bailey made a mound visit to chat with Houck while Bernardino and Slaten were warming in the Red Sox pen and the chat would pay off as Houck got Alejandro Kirk to bounce to Devers at third base starting a big inning ending 5-4-3 double play and the Red Sox lead was 2-1 heading to the bottom of the 7th. Erik Swanson took over on the mound and pitched a scoreless bottom of the 7th for Toronto. Houck returned to the mound at 81 pitches and retired Lukes on a routine fly to Duran in CF and Ernie Clement would come out to pinch hit for Straw with 1 out. Clement hit a ground ball to Devers along the third base line but Devers would bounce the throw to first base and Casas was unable to scoop it as Clement reaches on a throwing error to put the tying run on with 1 out and Bo Bichette coming up. Houck bounced a pitch in the dirt to Bichette and Clement would advance into scoring position and Bichette made the Red Sox pay for the error and wild pitch on the very next pitch as he lined a ball into CF for a RBI single tying the game 2-2. Justin Slaten replaced Houck on the mound with Vladimir Guerrero and Anthony Santander due up as the Blue Jays had a great opportunity to take the lead. Slaten made a perfect pitch locating a cutter low and away just off the plate to induce a ground ball from Guerrero right to Hamilton at shortstop to start a huge inning ending 6-4-3 double play and we would head to the bottom of the 8th with the score tied 2-2 and Chad Green coming on to pitch for Toronto. The Red Sox had Duran, Devers and Bregman due up in the bottom of the 8th and Green would retire Duran and Devers on fly balls deep to Varsho who took over in CF after Clement pinch hit for Straw. Green would strike out Bregman who chased a breaking ball away to send the game to the 9th inning with the score tied at 2-2. Slaten retired Santander before Andres Gimenez singled to LF and stole second base to move into scoring position with 1 out for Springer who fouled off several two strike pitches to stay alive bouncing to Casas at first base for the 2nd out as Gimenez advances to third base bringing up Will Wagner with the go ahead run 90 feet away at third base and 2 outs. Wagner hit a sinking liner to LF that looked like it would drop for a RBI single but Duran would come charging in to make a great running catch off his shoe laces for the 3rd out sending us to the bottom of the 9th where the Red Sox would have a chance to walk off with a victory against Yimi Garcia who was coming on to pitch for Toronto. Triston Casas singled into CF to lead off the bottom of the 9th and Romy Gonzalez would come on as a pinch runner for Casas putting more speed on the bases for Boston as Gonzalez represents the potential winning run but Garcia would retire the next 3 batters all on fly ball outs and we were headed to extra innings to decide tonights ball game. Slaten retired the first two batters in the top of the 10th with Wagner on second as the extra innings runner before Daulton Varsho singled into LF and Wagner would try to score but Duran delivered a strong throw to the plate and Wong applied the tag to cut down Wagner at the plate for the 3rd out and we would go to the bottom of the 10th with the Red Sox coming up with a chance to win as they begin the inning with Wong on second base. David Hamilton led off the bottom of the 10th and he would play the role of hero as he got a good pitch to hit as Garcia

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                            Game #14 of the Season
Toronto Blue Jays (7-6) @ Boston Red Sox (8-5)
Pitching Matchup – Chris Bassitt (1-0, 2.25 ERA) vs Walker Buehler (0-0, 5.91 ERA)

                            RECAP
The Blue Jays got to Walker Buehler for two runs in the top of the 1st on a RBI double by Vladimir Guerrero and a RBI single from Bo Bichette to take a 2-0 lead. The Red Sox answered with a run off Chris Bassitt in the bottom of the 1st on a RBI double off the green monster by Triston Casas to cut the deficit to 2-1 and Boston would get a RBI single from Ceddanne Rafaela tying the game at 2-2. The score remained tied 2-2 until the Blue Jays got RBI doubles from Bo Bichette and Daulton Varsho to take a 4-2 lead. The score remained 4-2 into the 6th inning and Buehler finished his outing by striking out Wagner and the Red Sox were threatening in the bottom of 6th after singles by Story and Abreu put two men on with 2 outs. Chad Green came in from the bullpen and Carlos Narvaez would drive a ball deep to LF but Lukes would get back and make the catch on the warning track ending the inning and sending the game to the 7th inning with Toronto leading 4-2. Brennan Bernardino pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 7th for Boston and Green returned to the mound for Toronto and would get help from his defense as Wagner made an excellent diving stop to his left and hopped to his feet and fired a strong throw to first base to retire Rafaela leading off the bottom of the 7th and Green would retire Duran and Devers to make quick work of the Sox and send the game to the 8th inning with Toronto leading 4-2. Andres Gimenez tripled off Bernardino to lead off the top of 8th and Greg Weissert would come in to take over on the mound. Vladimir Guerrero knocked GImenez in with a RBI sac fly to CF as GImenez slid in safely to beat the throw from Rafaela to make it 5-2. Anthony Santander was up next and extended the lead to 6-2 with a solo HR down the RF line. Justin Wilson came in from the pen to strike out Wagner ending the frame and Green made quick work of the Red Sox retiring the side 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 8th sending the game to the 9th inning with Toronto leading 6-2. Toronto tacked on 3 more runs in the top of the 9th off Justin Wilson to blow the game open 9-2 and Yariel Rodriguez would come on to pitch the bottom of the 9th for the Blue Jays. Rodriguez retired Campbell and Abreu on routine fly balls for 2 quick outs and the Sox were down to their final out. Carlos Narvaez went down on strikes to end the ball game as the Blue Jays put a 9-2 beating on the Red Sox

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
                              Game #15 of the Season
Boston Red Sox (8-6) @ Chicago White Sox (7-5)
Pitching Matchup – Sean Newcomb (0-1, 5.56 ERA) vs Davis Martin (1-0, 3.00 ERA)

                              RECAP
The Red Sox opened the scoring in the top of the 2nd when Davis Martin recorded 2 quick outs before Wilyer Abreu turned on a fastball and crushed a 442 foot bomb to RF for a solo HR giving Boston a 1-0 lead. Rob Refsnyder hammered a 2-run HR that traveled 426 feet to CF in the top of the 3rd pushing the Red Sox lead to 3-0. Sean Newcomb was pitching well and cruised through the bottom of the 3rd and we would head to the 4th inning with Boston leading 3-0. Triston Casas jumped a first pitch fastball from Martin to being the top of the 4th and launched a 452 foot blast to right-center making it 4-0 on the 3rd Red Sox HR of the game. Martin would not record an out in the 4th inning as Trevor Story followed with a single before Abreu drew a 9 pitch walk to put two on with nobody out and White Sox manager Will Venable came out to get Martin as Mike Vasil made his way in from the pen. Connor Wong welcomed Vasil with a liner to RF for a single loading the bases with no outs for David Hamilton as the Red Sox look to blow the game open. Hamilton and Vasil battled to a full count before Hamilton hit a fly ball to LF deep enough for Story to score on the RBI sac fly making it 5-0. Vasil did a good job of limiting the damage as he retired Rafaela and Refsnyder to get out of the jam. The White Sox got on the board in the bottom of the 4th when Miguel Vargas led off the inning by taking Newcomb deep the opposite way for a solo HR to RF cutting the deficit to 5-1. Newcomb would get through the inning with no further damage sending the game to the 5th inning where Vasil and Newcomb would pitch scoreless frames to send the game to the 6th inning with Boston leading 5-1. The Red Sox would hit their 4th HR of the ball game in the top of the 6th when Wilyer Abreu singled and David Hamilton launched a 2-run HR to CF making it 7-1. Newcomb continued to pitch well as he retired the White Sox in order in the bottom of the 6th to send the game to the 7th inning with the Red Sox leading 7-1. Rafael Devers launched the 5th Red Sox HR of the game as he made it 8-1 with a solo HR in the top of the 7th and that would be all for Vasil as Penn Murfee took over on the mound for Chicago. Newcomb pitched another 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the 7th as Story made a nice play in the hole showing good ranger and a strong arm to retire Taylor to end the 7th as we move to the 8th inning with Boston up 8-1. Penn Murfee pitched a scoreless top of the 8th while Josh Winckowski took over on the mound for Boston and pitched a scoreless bottom of the 8th sending the game to the 9th inning with the Red Sox leading 8-1. Rafael Devers stepped in against Murfee with 2 outs in the top of the 9th and launched his 2nd HR of the game for a 2-run shot pushing the lead to 10-1. Winckowski retired Vargas and Robert for two quick outs to begin the bottom of the 9th and the White Sox were down to their final out. Matt Thaiss hit a routine fly ball to RF where Wilyer Abreu would get there and make the catch

                                Hi,
I was curious, do you play your games with quick counts on?

                                Thanks,
                                Jeff
