Sounds of the Show in 2 days!

Man I really don't know what to expect, first I thought its for the speaker in the controller so you can hear your own voice in rtts or something. But if it's not even a little bit like what we all hope it to be Ramone should have at least tempered our expactation in this thread to reduce the inevitable ****storm that would arise tomorrow if it's not in the line of that very expactation

In the first stream they were playing around with the controller speaker I believe. Could this be the SOTS feature or is this already in 15'?

That's called RtTS Yell or maybe just Yell.

I think you just hear comments from the crowd thru the DS4 speaker,Nick mentioned he recorded some "Yells" for it.

I would have liked to be able to hear the base coaches yelling instructions while ob.

If we can't use our own music off a USB or something similar then i at least hope it's that they have added a lot of music/sound effects included in game that we can use in SoTS. The 10 or so songs from the soundtrack just isn't enough.

I believe you are correct. The DS4 speaker is not going to be used as the primary resource for music. It will be used for secondary sounds like crowd yells for added atmosphere.

To be fair, SotS is in the menus in 15.

And it was in 14...and here's a groundbreaker, I think you could use it too. The feature actually worked.

Just not the way people wanted it to work.

I AM SO DAMN STOKED!!! I have a great feeling that we are going to get full functionality of SOTS through a USB peripheral or the like. 3pm CST cannot come fast enough tomorrow!!

Even though its wishful thinking, I believe it will be an enhanced sounds of the show through the use of usb. Hopefully we can assign custom walk ups, and hopefully the game remembers all the assigned slots, and placemarkers for the music files if you remove the usb, but I dont mind leaving the usb plugged into the ps4 for 6 months.

With that said, if the news comes out tomorrow that we can use a usb with music files to assign custom walk-ups like the old days, then I will be more than happy to come out of my 2 year hiatus and construct a 2016 edition of my OS Sounds of The Show packs.

Also where I have still been playing on the PS3, I have some bad news for you all. There is custom walk up, bullpen entrance music and hasn't been for as long as I can remember and that's going back like 11/12. It's just been you could play custom music in the background. Maybe I am wrong about that but I haven't been able to do it.

Yea I messed up. I couldn't use it in RTTS which is where I was planning on using it.

PS4's Spotify feature works something like you suggested, filling in the menu music with whatever's currently on your playlist. But it also bleeds into the game, replacing organ music, etc., which really doesn't work well.

Oh man I hope so! You did an awesome job with this in years past. Now I'm really hoping for full sounds of the show!
