Unable to import files
Hey guys, hoping someone can help me. I have all my music saved on a USB in a folder titled "MUSIC". However when I go to import the songs I get an error message that says "Unable to import files due to unrecognized USB device or a missing directory on your USB device. Please place your music files in a folder called MUSIC". Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.Tags: None -
Re: Unable to import files
Same here. I actually have them saved on two different usbs. Both aren't working.

Re: Unable to import files
I had the same problem, then I realized my USB wasn't plugged in all the way. Serioiusly, I had to wiggle it back and forth and apply quite a bit of pressure to get it to go in. There was a noticeable "click" when it went in and the light on the USB came on.
Hopefully that's all your issue is.Comment

Re: Unable to import files
There is no bug. I have had the game since Friday and SOTS is working fine.

Re: Unable to import files
Well maybe there's a bug with their specific manufacturer's drivers or maybe their file storage type (FAT32 vs NTFS). It's clearly not working for some people, and something is causing it.
Hopefully I'm in the clear tomorrow when I get the game!Football Data Analyst @ Tracking Football

Re: Unable to import files
I figured out the issue. My USB needed to be FAT32, but since I formatted it on a mac I also needed to create a partition and make sure the partiton has a master boot record scheme. It's too much to explain here but if you google "master boot record usb drive" you can find all the information.
Here's the kicker....after all this....I figured out that I need to wait for OSFM to drop before I can assign music to players.Comment

Re: Unable to import files
It's working perfect for me. Try restarting the PS4 without the USB in. Boot the game up and insert the USB when your in the SotS menu.Comment

Re: Unable to import files
I am not having problem getting the songs imported, I am having a problem trying to put them in the jukebox or on the list of songs that I can play during the game. It is frustrating, the game is crashing every time I pull up the playlist editor menu. Ive reinstalled the game, nothing. Restarted my PS4, nothing. It keeps saying "AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED IN THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION (CE-34878-0)". Is anybody having this problem? And if so, what do I do!?!?Comment

Re: Unable to import files
You don't have the game yet? That's the problem. When I put the USB in the first time before booting the game, the PS4 didn't recognize it. Once the game was running and I was in the SotS menu, it recognized it. Get the game, if it doesn't work than, let us know.Comment
