is there a way to amplify these sounds?

I tried loading Harry Caray's 7th inning stretch and the Fox MLB theme into the game, but I could barely hear it. And I did find a website that can amplify MP3 files, but to get the volume high enough, the track gets distorted. Is there anything out there where I can have my cake and eat it too?
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

your best option is to go into audio settings in game and turn dow the volume ft or everything but the music slider. Go to the starter pack thread and on the first page I put a screen shot of the audio settings that work.

Is MP3 Gain still around and does it work? That's what people used to use with NHL. I haven't touched it in a couple years.

Thanks guys. I can't tell you how awesome this is that I now have the game sounding like a Fox MLB broadcast. I'm using the old tune, not the current football theme they use. And I love how you can use certain start times in a track to get it more accurate, since they used a lot between innings.

I use Audacity for when I do the soundtrack to a video......you can adjust the audio levels separately...and it's fairly easy to use.

lowlighthabit and myself, well mostly me because I used Audacity, found out that Audacity was screwing up the files somehow. I made my entire half of the starter pack with Audacity and had to redo them all once I got the game and imported them. Not sure what the deal was cause I love Audacity and use it all the time but The Show didn't seem to like me using it. I used Goldwave to fix and that program seemed to do the trick. very similar to audacity.

              Thank you for the info.
I was about to start getting some sound files together.
              I'll check out Goldwave.

I was using Twistedwave, but again, if you amplify the files too much, you get distortion. I do, however, enjoy the ability to add effects to my music flies. I can hear the Chipmunks sing all my favorite songs.
