It;s pretty much dead as the regular season started. We have limited space and can't store everything. This link:

should allow you to download everything I have so far. Most teams are still starter pack quality, with what we have posted so far on the OP being 2017.

i have MLB the show 16...I have made a folder titled MUSIC..i put the mp3's i have got from here in it...with NO folders inside of the MUSIC one.

I plug in my usb into my ps3 and opening up my MLBTS16...i found the sounds of the game but there is NOWHERE to IMPORT my music from...can someone help this newbie please?

There is an import option in the main Sounds of the Show screen. I believe it's the one on the bottom row, right side. Choose "import". If your USB drive appears, select it and the import happens automatically. If you do not see the USB, make sure it's FAT32, the PS4 will not see it any other way. Hopefully that helps you. You can go over to the 2017 Regular Season pack post as CujoMatty has an excellent set of instructions on how to do everything in game. Pretty much identical between 2016 and 2017.

thanks Lowlight..i should have mentioned i have a PS3 but I figured it out already. thanks for the help. BTW> do you know if there is a LIMIT to how many MP3's we can add to the game thru sounds of the show? It said my playlist is FULL after adding some teams to it..i got as far as the LA Dodgers and it said it was full??

again I have a PS3 NOT a PS4 I know there is a difference on how importing works between the two systems.

I know I am VERY late to the party here but I just bought a copy of MLB The Show 2016 for PS3 since my son-in-law has a PS3 that he no longer uses. I have always modded and played baseball games on the PC (MVP2005 for the last 15 years) and I never bought a console for just one game, but since I have access to a PS3 now, I thought it might be fun to try something "new".

Most of the Sounds of The Show links at the beginning of this thread no longer work and some indicate that I need to log into the Google drive as a different user.

Are any of the sound files listed still available? If not, does anybody have links to where I might be able to find some?

Files are no longer live, heck I don't even have them in my Drive anymore. Sorry. That was the first year SotS came back and I don't think we hit our stride creating the files until the following year. Your best bet would be to download the 17 files as they are still live in my Drive. Maybe take a look at this years Legends pack and see if missing players are in there.

In some cases, files were forward compatible -- e.g. MVP2004 uniforms or cyberfaces could be used in MVP2005 but MVP2005 files could not be used in MVP2004).

Totally compatible BUT I found my 16 files if you still want them. Keep in mind this was the first year doing it so it's pretty raw. A lot of missing inning music and sounds. But mix the players from 16 with the 2020 stadium sounds and you would have a damn solid experience in 16. All ready for ya. Click the link below. I searched online and did find a few YouTube videos that explained how to install some files. I will have to watch them. I downloaded the 2017 Yankees file the other day and found that it was a Zip file that contained a number of MP3 files.

Every single year we have done is backwards compatible.

Create a folder on a USB drive titled MUSIC. It must be all caps or the PS3/4 won't recognize the folder. Dump all the mp3's you want in game into the just created folder. Keep in mind there were limitations on the total amount so maybe start with the AL or NL first.

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded a Yankees 2019 SotS pack and noticed some files that had names like this:

NYY Bird, Ford, Gregorius.mp3

Is that a single walkup music clip to be used for all three players or three separate walkup clips included in a single file and I would then have to use one of the utilities I read about in The Show to extract the "piece" I want and assign that as walkup music for each player?
