Walk-up songs compared to other in-game music.

This has been discussed a bit before but I wanted to see if anyone had any new information and/or updates. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that the walk-up and pitcher warm up songs are extremely low volume and difficult to hear. However, other song cues, such as a home run song, seem to be at a decent volume. I'm not sure why this is.

The obvious fix for walk-up and warm up music is to lower all the other sounds in the in-game menu's and keep the music where it is. However, this creates an issue where the in-game menu songs and other music cues are too loud. Is there any way to increase the volume of walk-up and warm up songs without making the other songs too loud?

I edit everything in Audacity and I can amplify them in MP3 gain but I'm not sure if that would help or not.

Are you talking about ones you made or ones that we made in our packs. If its our packs can you list 2 files, 1 soft 1 loud , so I can look at them?

If they are ones you made than yes you need to make all the files the same volume with audacity. The easy way to tell is this.

See how the wavy lines are 3 different sizes vertically? That means they will be different volumes. highlight each section and use the gain control in audacity to make all 3 match. I also try to make each sections wavy lines touch the bottom and top of the window. If the wavy lines exceed the window. clipping or distortion will occur. a little is fine but you definetly dont want to see a solid color in the sections. You want wavy lines. Make all your songs the same size and touching top and bottom and you should have close to the same volume as the default in game music. Some songs might vary a little but it should be close.

I was able to get it to work and it definitely does make a noticeable difference when using the gain controls. I have a mac but here is a video tutorial incase anyone needs it.

This is what I ended up doing. There's some clipping if I preview a song on the edit screen, but I don't really notice it once it's in-game with the stadium effect. Obviously how noticeable it is varies from person-to-person, but I'm happy with it.
