So basically, the franchise guys once AGAIN lose out to the DD crowd. Goodness gracious, this is a joke. Literally catering to one crowd and one crowd ONLY to line their pockets.

To be fair it's not just a franchise issue as it effects basically every mode of the game (hell it even effects how much music you can play in the menus). So everybody loses (that uploads lots of music) for the benefit of "Online."

Sad thing is the online players are going to complain no matter what they do.

Yeah SOTS works for walkups in DD too. Really liked that last year and even added music for legends.

If we still are way over we have discussed cutting the walk ups down and the pitcher entrances down a bit too. I’m honestly not worried lowlights a smart guy and he’s always figuring stuff out.
If you keep track of the songs that are duplicates as you go, you could cut down on a lot of space by just giving us a list of what songs in the pack should be set for players on other teams / stadium effects. I don't know how many duplicates there are really, but guessing there is a bit from using the packs over the years.

And to be really fair, space was reduced for other reasons entirely. I have been in contact with SDS and it is not totally there fault. Regardless, Matty and I are scrambling to make changes to the layout in order to reduce the overall size of each pack. Results have been great so far but won't know for sure until we finish them all.

We do track every players walkup, so a file exists. This comes up every year but it is impossible to do. Every team with a duplicate song would require a note stating where to find a players music. Nearly impossible to pull off unless your tv is right next to your computer so you can review the notes. There are duplicates but 75% start at different times, so the effort would be worthless for the actual few duplicates.

New patch today, anyone check if any of the SOTS issues were fixed?

I don't think they were. But Matty and I have solved the 5GB limit I believe. Think we will be under it with all the work have we done. Only thing I am not sure of is the chants/jeers and if they still have a cap on them.

That caused a lot more headaches and frustration for me than it really should have. Glad it's fixed now!
