When assigning audio to your teams, are you guys assigning broadcast effect to your pregame song (ex: MLB on FOX, Root Sports) and stadium effects to the rest?

Another question, after going through the mp3gain and goldwave, do you still want the reverb to be on in your audio settings?

I use broadcast on pregame and I also you a Rogers Sportsnet in between innings so for those I also set it at broadcast. Inning music or anything that should be playing in the stadium I set stadium. So for example the ok blue Jays 7th inning stretch song plays in the stadium so I set it as that.

Yes I left reverb on even after I added it. Sounds good

Wow! Thanks so much for this. I came up with a huge playlist just for this game and was pretty disappointed when most of my songs sounded muffled in the menus. Your method took care of that. No more having to turn up my TV or the in-game music slider. You're my hero.

Quick question, I was wondering if after using MP3Gain to enhance the volume of the audio, would I have to to export another file from the program, or does it automatically replace the file with the new enhanced version?

Btw, thanks for the advice on how to fix it! It was very annoying not being able to hear my SOTS.

I only used MP3Gain. It automatically updates the original files. No need to export anything.

Audacity worked for me. With all the new presentation it’s great to hear SOTS volume back to normal.

I redid the sounds with mp3gain before I ever saw this thread because I already had the program installed. The thing is though...while the sounds are much louder in general, in some games they are loud like they're supposed to be and in some games they get all quiet again and I'm not sure why. It has to be a bug. That is with the exact same sound volumes and profile in game and with the exact same tv / headphone volumes.

So I downloaded Goldwave and MP3gain last night and loved the results!! Are you guys saying Audacity takes care of both reverb and volume? Also, I'm using songs off of spotify and I downloaded ondesoft, any other drm tool you guys use?

Oh yeah....what about the organ music between pitches like "if your happy and you know it" haha. Are these considered team yells/change or are some of these sound bites not able to be edited?

Audacity isn’t any better than goldwave. You can adjust the gain(volume) in goldwave and you kind of have to anyways. Because each track is made up of three individual songs you have to make sure each song is the same volume before you make them into one track. If you don’t and run them through mp3 gain then the song will still be 3 different volumes.

Best thing to do is compile all the music you want to use then run those all thru mp3 gain at which ever level you want to make them uniform. I then cut them up into the there in one tracks and then I also run them thru mo3 gain again to make sure they are the same volumes.
