MLB 18 - Importing Music errors... give me strength, OS!

Attempting to import an MP3 on a brand-new USB device to The Show. The MP3 is in a folder called "Music" and I'm going through the Manage Music Files menu. An error message pops up -

"ERROR - Unable to import all files from your USB device due to an unsupported/corrupt file(s). 0 of 1 music file(s) were imported."

My confusion - when I go to "Delete Files" I can still see and play the song.

Anybody know what the heck is going on? Starting to get very frustrated with this year's game.

I was having the same problem. Lmao come to find out I was having a senior moment, and wasn't unzipping the zip files before trying to add the music.

This is getting pretty ridiculous -

Song, an MP3, "imported," but not showing up in any menus to add to players motion & sounds or play on Jukebox.

      Why?

One of my USB drives gives the same error when importing. I tried another and it worked. Initial suggestion is to try another drive.

NEVERMIND! We're good guys. You gotta start on Playlist Creator... which isn't exactly intuitive but - it works. Sorry Sony!
