2 versions of same song
So I'm adding 100 songs to my jukebox, unedited, and 30 of those songs with a 5 reverb and added gain for in game music. I am downloading songs tonight, but for tomorrow morning my question is "do I just change name of mp3 file"(like adding a J for jukebox at end of title) or do i actually need to change the TITLE as well within the file properties? Hope this makes sense. Thanks!Tags: None -
Re: 2 versions of same song
If i am using a network theme for between innings i set it to broadcast and i also have the file set around 90-92db as music set for broadcast plays a lot louder imo.
I don't think there is any need to add reverb now, unless you feel the effect isn't strong enough.
I think you do need to change the title in the files properties. I like to have 3 songs in every file so i often edit cujo's and lowlighthabit's packs so all files have 3 songs or i add songs and noticed if i didn't edit the title in properties it kept the original files name in the game.Comment

Re: 2 versions of same song
All titles must be different. If you plan on adding more files or updating, for instance, Starter pack to Regular Season... the old file must be deleted or the new file renamed. SotS will skip over files named the same when importing.Comment

So I'm hearing you say is i need to change title and file name? And y'all agree on no change to reverb now? Just tinker with db level?Comment

Re: 2 versions of same song
Not sure if it has changed this year but last year it would make duplicates of the same files, i forgot to delete one of the teams pack's folder from my usb so when i went to import another team it made duplicates of the files all ready imported.
I had to check in the playlist creator to find out which files were already in a playlist as there was no way to tell the difference between the files besides what order they were in, for which ones to delete.Comment
