Re: Lowlighthabit & CujoMatty's featuring BU1B22 2019 SOTS Regular Season Packs
I'm new to sounds of the show, i downloaded some teams, and when i open the files there are abbreviations i dont understand. can i have some help please?
(C-CC), (C-CJ), (Y-FC), (Y-FJ), (PWU)
Also, what option do you put helicopter, ambulance, "Rob the peanut guy", etc sounds at?
Thank you.
Basically there’s 2 categories, yells and chants. Each of those categories are broken down further into 2 more categories, cheers and jeers. The best way to think of cheers and jeers is this:
On each team audio setup menu the sounds you set up under cheers will play for that team randomly for home games. Jeers will play randomly for that team during road games.
Further breaking that down, chants play separately from the other included music and yells can happen anytime. So any of the team specific chants such as “everybody clap your hands” should be set in a chant slot. You wouldn’t want that to overlap with some of the team sounds they included in game like organ stuff etc.....
Yells should be for things like beer/popcirn/hotdog vendors, or the fan insults/compliments as it doesn’t matter if it’s overlapped by organ music etc.....
I take the random airplane/police/ambulance/fire truck and assign them in the 3 “cheer yells” slots for teams that make sense ie non dome teams(obviously you wouldn’t hear a police siren in a dome. Also certain teams have specific sounds like the boat horns in San Fran or subway in NY. Those would go in that teams “cheer yells” slots.
To go a little deeper into chants. The 3 “chant cheers” play when the home team is at bat and whatever you have the other teams “chants jeers” play when the road team is up to bat. This is important because if you only play as one team you can use the other teams “chant jeers” slots for more of your favourite teams stadium sounds.
So for Toronto I have the the 3 “chant cheers” slots set at 1: everybody clap their hands. 2:cheer power(another music thing the jays use) 3:Adams family organ. I then set every other teams 3 “chant jeers” slots to 1: “let’s go jays” 2: that Ayyyy Ooo chant 3: stomp clap chant. All of those with the ones SCEA included in the game and it’s insanely authentic.Last edited by CujoMatty; 04-16-2019, 12:46 AM.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

(C-CC) """" TEAM CHANT""" , (C-CJ) """ TEAM JEER"""" , (Y-FC) "" FAN CHEER"" , (Y-FJ) """ FAN JEER""" , (PWU) I THINK THIS IS JUST THE UPDATE OR THE PERSON THAT CONTRIBUTED WITH THE FILE NOT SURE EITHER...
Also, what option do you put helicopter, ambulance, "Rob the peanut guy", etc sounds at? PUT THESE ANYWHERE IN TEAM CHANT,JEERS OR FAN CHANT OR JEERS..Comment

Everything's sounding great. The Tex (P)Bush, (P)Chavez, (P)Curtis track has a weirdly large amount of dead space after Curtis's song. (The track is 12:12 in length).Comment

I’ll go a little deeper because it’s complicated and I learned a lot the hard way and to be honest I just ignore most of that labelling and assign to teams where those sounds make sense. We are very limited in the amount of cheers and yells we can import so you need to assign the same tracks many places. The only ones that I follow the labelling is for the “chants” those are usually team specific.

The only problem that I run into when I set up some of these chants is that the organ or certain other music like the Ayyy Ooo chant will be playing in the middle of the pitch, especially if its a longer clip, Am I doing it wrong? I usually just set up some of the chants and organ stuff in the CC 1,2,and 3 sectionNFL- Minnesota Vikings
MLB- New York Mets
NHL- New York Rangers
NCAA- West Virginia MountaineersComment

Re: Lowlighthabit & CujoMatty's featuring BU1B22 2019 SOTS Regular Season Packs
Pretty sure they are 3. I have set all team sound for every team and there was definitely 3 for Washington when I did it. Can you check them on your cpu and see if they are 2 or 3 tracks for me? Sounds like you encountered the cut off bug.
I encountered this with the Yankees and a lot of people are reporting this with various others so it’s apparently just random. Basically for some reason the importer is cutting off tracks randomly. Like I said the entire Yankees preseason pack did this to me. The only way I could find to fix was load the tracks into goldwave and resave then import again.
It’s been reported as a bug and I hope Sony is fixing but I haven’t heard anything.
I did see someone said renaming the files then importing again fixed for them but it didn’t for me. Luckily I only had the issue with the Yankees.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Not sure as I put them together as BU1B22 gives me his info. So not sure where the Yankees are on his to do list. My guess is very soon though. He flies through his research.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

No unfortunately the thread wasn’t up before I did the pack. I really need to get the packs done before I worry about the updates but I will lap around. Thanks for the info.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Thx for the heads up and I encourage everyone to post any other mistakes they find. If you don’t I won’t find them because as stupid as this sounds I don’t actually use these packs other than the blue jays. lol.
I’m too impatient and complete up to date accuracy doesn’t matter to me as I wouldn’t know what anyone uses in real life anyways as I only watch Jays games so I just roll with the preseason packs.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Don’t get me wrong, I love the work all of you do. Your SOTS, Armours slides, and OSFM great an amazing experience. However, is there any way we can update some of the between inning music. I feel like I’ve heard most of these same songs over the last few years. Thanks again for all your hard work.
